I don’t think I will be applauding Sterling Jim – he’s pretty hard to like, and I never liked him much even when he played for us. No red cards for Liverpool players though will do me just fine – if I were the ref I’d send off a couple of City players in the tunnel though π
2-0
2-4
3-1
2-2
0-4
5-6?god knows.

Hard to predict. No bets or predictions from me on this.
I thought we should have won at City but collapsed after the sending off. Although 1-0 down we had been the better team until then.
God knows what will happen on Sunday but if Sterling gets sent off in the first ten minutes it will be a good start.

10th January 2018 at 12:31 am in reply to: Mayor of liverpool contacts the police over Ross Barkley's Chelsea transfer #11911He’s a useless fat fuck.
He got 89k of legal fees paid by the council to enable him to pursue unfair dismissal pension claims against a former employer. He received about 14k and it was for a part time role as a teaching assistant of some sorts and he hadn’t turned up for work in years (but he ‘knew his rights’)
Yet he claims in his interview with the echo that he had to object to this transfer as he is an individual who believes in the highest level of probity!!! You couldn’t make it up!

Is it actually fully sold out Jim or just in the area you want to be in?
Iβm not taking the piss, just interested.
Great story about the ballboy – I like that!

that’s true but he has to say he is satisfied he saw everything, but if he refers it and hasn’t punished either player (I thought this might be why he kept his cards in his pocket) then the FA can take action – but I have no faith in them. The ref is also the worst in the league at the moment.
I’d have been livid if that penalty had been given against us – although it was a few weeks earlier when Calvert Lewin did a Lallana!

Seems the echo have deleted the article online and now only have a sanitised one explaining the process and timescales.
decisions to be made today whether to charge either of them and then they have until 6pm tomorrow to respond with a hearing on Thursday if needed.
I’m expecting no action for either player – if I were a betting man.

Nine, I read in the local paper and on their website that the referees report says he heard nothing and that none of the players brought it to his attention at the time – or words to that effect.
The same article – which I’ll have a look for again also said he was ranting in Portuguese and shouted at him, “are you crazy, you son of a bitch” and used the word ‘puta’ – which supposedly isn’t racist, I wouldn’t know.
I never knew Holgate had such a grasp of Portuguese anyway π .
The only offence to me is the wreckless attempt to injure firminho by Holgate – but would the FA charge a player himself once he’s played the race card – unlikely

Agree CM
Heβs a complete and utter scumbag – cowardly challenges on a regular basis. Not only could Firmino get injured but spectators could have been as well. No wonder Bobby was so mad.
I think itβs all a smoke screen to try to avoid punishment. I hope the FA throw the book at him but I have a feeling they will look to do something to bobby too._____________________________

6th January 2018 at 12:24 am in reply to: Liverpool V Everton – FAC 3RD Round Friday 5th – 19:55 – BBC #11178Sam Allardyce on whether it was a pen: “Yes. Don’t put your hands on a forward when he’s in the box. Don’t mess with him, push him or shove him. He had no need to do it. Credit to Craig Pawson for giving it at Anfield.” ? going on big sams definition of a pen a few weeks ago.
Amazingly he now feels different – bit of karma for Sam!
Christ, looks like Nil is on the sauce tonight!!

Thought youβd like that reference 999.
Maverick – Iβd like them to do that but in reality they canβt – itβs like a cancer at the club and the most important players are the ones that want to be there.
I also think the money is so high that it has to be accepted – he could break his leg here or at the World Cup and be worth nothing in
the future – plus the circus will continue with the El King Harry pub from Catalonia putting stories in the press every day_____________________________

I agree, he would be good value at that price – can see his price being More though.
I just donβt think he would improve sides as good as spurs or Chelsea. Heβs at his level I think.

Maverick – yes he is on strike.
complaining of a slight strain and tightness in his thigh, which miraculously is an injury that cannot be seen on scans or xrays. Same as his back strain in August.
When he signs for that Spanish pub league side he will make a very speedy recovery, or if he is still here in February he will recover instantly – as its a world cup year_____________________________
