Just seen an opinion column asking if frank to Chelsea is a bad move or a really bad move.

Can’t see him making it past Christmas unless the club has a change in philosophy, and give him time to build.

A little bit of edge and banter is all good with me. Pagan is ok, nowt wrong with what he posted.

I like to give it out, and don’t mind a bit back – but as Liverpool are the greatest club in history I know other teams fans have to try a bit harder ?

So this season. Looking forward to giving city and Chelsea the usual ‘little Club’ abuse, watching united flounder, and spurs being spurs.

I wouldn’t have Coutinho back – we are a better unit without him, and despite him being good in many games for Liverpool he could go missing and have a stinker – and doesn’t chase down the ball.

I think we will sign a big money centre half to go with VVD, subject to Gomez fitness, and cover for left back – and maybe a creative midfielder/striker.
It was squad depth that divided City from Liverpool last season – we were 2 to 3 players short.

getting Sturridge off the wage bill is also a big boost to the club.

Evening everyone. Now the madness is settling.

What a fantastic few days. I flew out to Madrid on Thursday with my 20 yr old son. He wanted to experience the fanzones. We went with friends who had match tickets.

Great atmosphere and great fun, with such good banter and mixing with the spurs lads.

I left Madrid lunchtime Saturday to fly home and watch the match with my father as I’m not sure I’ll get the chance again. 4 magical moments.
– when I gave the ticket he didn’t know I had to my son. He actually wanted to come too so he could be with grandad, but I wanted him to go.
– the fun and mixing with the spurs fans, and enjoying them enjoying the event.
– watching the game with my father, and celebrating the win.
– seeing Jordan Henderson lift the trophy and hugging his own father.

Commiserations to spurs and the lads on here. I actually thought you were the better side, but we’ve now got that ability to grind out a result and win when we are not the better side.

I sat on my own afterwards and think I had something in my eye!!. There are things greater and more important than football, but it’s a great enabler of fabulous memories.

Whoever wins this will definitely have won it in the best way, rather than the other team choking or bottling it. Both teams have done well with over two months of perfect results – it’s unheard of.

That said, I still hope that a good dose of the Noro virus with projectile vomiting and the wild shites besets the City coach on the way to the match on Sunday.

Great to have taken the title challenge into the last game of the season – massive progress and great experience for the team.

I expect City to cruise through two wins and to seal the title. Amazing season.

On the off chance that city drop points to Leicester, I’d play the reserves against Barcelona and put everything into the wolves game.

HH, I thought Zaha was typically him. Interested when he has the ball but lazy and strolling when he didn’t. It’s why I think he is only suited to being the best player in an average to good team. The difference in workrate between him and our front three sums up whyhe is just good and not great
