Don’t get all the fuss about this, or the various scenarios floated.

    It’s quite clear to me.

Get through this first stage of the virus and public health risks first. Then see where/when we are, and take stock.

Finish the season, probably behind closed doors. Finishing a competition is more important than starting a new one. If we miss a season or have an abridged condensed one after this then so be it.

First, let’s get through the first flush of this virus and see where we are once society knows more about it and how we will deal with it.

Stevo – have you approached your employer/former employer and asked them to put you on furlough instead of redundancy. I’ve been taking advice on it last week from KPMG and its permitted to effectively ‘re-hire then furlough’
you won’t see any cash until end of April.

costs them nothing and it will at least give you some income (above basic benefits) until you can find something new

    just a thought

the car I travel most in is usually a Prius Uber!!

If I was buying a run around car if I was home more id get a Golf

You only have to read the emails,

Utter bollocks if people claim they can be read out of context – as they are whole documents and self explanatory

The only chance city have (of avoiding a ban) is that they escape by way of a technicality about how the emails were obtained – but we will all still know they are cheats.

    The conspiracy argument is amusing

I can’t see city or their owners convincing anybody that there are others who are even more corrupt

Agree Brian, I think it’s a split second decision they make.
Coming for the bull and they spot it move a little in the air so decide to punch rather than risk a fumble. Or they think they might get clattered so punch to get it clear – do t think they decide beforehand – I think it’s done in the last few metres of the ball travelling

Can’t see the premier league doing anything – contrary to some wacky reports this morning – and I wouldn’t want them to.

Most fans now know that what they have strongly suspected is actually true. That city have been financially doping and their achievements are tainted.

I think many top clubs (including Liverpool) run close to the wire of the rules but you have to say that City’s sponsorship deals were flagrantly bent. I remember pointing it out on here several years ago for both city and Chelsea (albeit Chelsea may have been before the rules changed)

This is a victory for football. It hasn’t been done on a whim. This shows the reasons we all suspected for City doing well in recent years.

Feel sorry for their fans today, but they were happy to enjoy the ride and argue with anyone who pointed this out.

    Cheers Sean
Loving this season and we had a great time in Madrid last June too

Great times! I just hope we build a foundation that lasts a while

Best football I’ve seen from Liverpool since 87/88/89 when john Barnes arrived

Just seen an opinion column asking if frank to Chelsea is a bad move or a really bad move.

Can’t see him making it past Christmas unless the club has a change in philosophy, and give him time to build.

A little bit of edge and banter is all good with me. Pagan is ok, nowt wrong with what he posted.

I like to give it out, and don’t mind a bit back – but as Liverpool are the greatest club in history I know other teams fans have to try a bit harder ?

So this season. Looking forward to giving city and Chelsea the usual ‘little Club’ abuse, watching united flounder, and spurs being spurs.

Enjoy your summer nil and recharge your batteries – we go again!!

Be surprised if maguire wants to go to City – he must have seen what’s happened withJohn Stones. Game time is important and if he does decide to go there then John Stones must think his time there is up.

I wouldn’t have Coutinho back – we are a better unit without him, and despite him being good in many games for Liverpool he could go missing and have a stinker – and doesn’t chase down the ball.

I think we will sign a big money centre half to go with VVD, subject to Gomez fitness, and cover for left back – and maybe a creative midfielder/striker.
It was squad depth that divided City from Liverpool last season – we were 2 to 3 players short.

getting Sturridge off the wage bill is also a big boost to the club.
