Slight tangent being the Gallagher Brothers born and bred in Manchester but have Irish Parents, and Noel owned a Guitar with a Union Jack pasted on it.
I think though at one point when asked whether he’d be interested in getting involved for the England Anthem of Euro 96 he took exception which opened the door for Badiel, Skinner and Ian from the Lightening Seeds.

I think that’s the key, Mak.
When you change allegiance. If for any reason one happens to be in a situation where there’s more bias towards one than the other, by all means do what you feel is best. For me though, there’s no going back.

Hmm, tricky one but I get why it might rub people’s backs.
And the rules are there in place for a reason.
If say you are non-white for example and born here and wanting to play for England, would anybody have any problem with that (just to be on a slight tangent)?

Mikus, in theory, wouldn’t that be applied to any given team?
If you raise the bar once or twice, the level of expectation changes for some fans irrespective of what realistically can be achieved.
Take Leicester for example. Some of their supporters believe they should be able to nail down a Uefa Cup spot.
If Poch was showing a decline though and he was unable to improve the squad, then naturally, there would be forced changes.

They were contributing factors my good mate in Leicester winning it – credit where credits due to them and as a whole unit, they clicked in 2016 when all the other usual suspects were stuck in their own pit-stop.

Add to that the weight of expectation from all quarters of Man United. Some out there more than adamant they should be winning League Titles.
I remember early 90s when this was happening to Liverpool – cue the old chestnut of Football being ‘cyclical’.
Let’s say Poch goes there, and doesn’t win as much within a 3/4 timespan, then he’ll be shown the door. Levy might now always license the dough, but equally, he doesn’t seem the type to be breathing down Poch’s neck because he’s proved he can give Tottenham CL Football which in itself breeds revenue that will contribute paying for the New Stadia.
