Peters is one thing but abuse towards Klopp on other platforms quite frankly is uncalled for. Yes he is in ‘closed down’ and our ideas seemed to have dried up but no doubt he will leave a legacy π―β½οΈπΎ

Sean, I don’t feel despondent as I should except Jota really should start and we’ve just become predictable for opposing teams to set up against.
Clean sheet for the first time, and an Away win. We need to change it going into Fulham this Sat.

Can we include ‘ways of working’ and style? KDB credit to him and Odegaard 2 of effectively few plus Rodri with the nous to shoot from central outside the box and work the keeper. There’s a lot of dilly-dally, but also very few natural dribblers. Are the Manager’s telling the players to play in a certain way?

Nunez is frustrating in a sense that for his attributes, he’s missing chances you would expect him to score and doesn’t really show for any predatory instincts. He made me really happy against Newcastle and Forest β½οΈπ

My bug-bear about the Prem is the game not exercised by teams to approach the game differently, contrary to the Trend of ‘high press’. It’s almost like watching a game of Basketball. The patience has been taken out of it.
Ancelotti had Pep sorted before the whistle had even blown. Reminders of Liverpool!
I can’t draw to a logical ‘scientific’ conclusion as to why there are so many player injuries and players burning out in our league as opposed to the others.
The Championship for example play 46 league matches and that’s in regular, Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday.
The irony is too that most teams in the Prem have big enough squads in what you would think be able to manage competing in multi-competitions.
It’s that final part of the season that tests all quarters the most. No shame whatsoever above all and commiserations.
Last Chance Saloon for Liverpool Tonight; wish us luck!

They’ll be cancelling out now. Vini real tired; cramps etc. Need fresh blood.
Be Pens unless somebody switches off.

Others may disagree, but I actually welcomed the handling of the Refereeing from the Barca-PSG game last night. I appreciate the ‘heat of the moment’ and perhaps on Xavi for example, he should have been given a warning or a telling off first, but overall, I felt it set a good precedent.
We need this in the Premier League and clamping down on diving and getting the rules right.
It’ll be raining goals tonight. Fasten your Seatbelts π

Straight Red. Goalscoring opportunity but VAR checking.

Yeah, combination Mikus of both. Leaky defence and the goals. Van Dijk in the near future will have to settle for at best the bench and we’re going to need 2 pacey and robust center halfs.
This will be our phase 2 and phase 3 will be our attack before the rebuild is complete in my reckoning. Klopp isn’t going to hang around unfortunately to see that all through and maybe he’s being a Gentleman in giving somebody younger with a fresh mind the opportunity.
I would love to steal right now a young Coutinho and Sterling. They were Penetrative midfielders. Zobo is lacking and so I only really see Diaz and Gakpo, but not as good as those wonderful guys Brendan Rodgers unleashed.

We can change our mindset and pretend we’ve been on a 6 game unbeaten run and have reduced City’s lead to just 2 points π

Mikus, Lockdown 2 season mate. It felt like we were losing games left, right, center. I remember the Newcastle defeat. We were so feeble. I don’t know how, but we found something and it was that Alisson header at the Hawthorns last minute that gave us a spring in our step and miraculously went on a run and stole a CL Place.
We have to find something Thursday. Should we overcome this setback, we can turn this bad spell on it’s head.
