ParticipantIn all honesty after seeing Ronnie Knocked out of the Masters, I’d be struggling big with a Man U defeat. It’s been hard enough with Pep. That League was hard fought but nobody really understands seemingly and unfortunately, in living experience so far.

ParticipantWatched Jurgen’s Press Conference and very respectful and complimentary towards Manchester United. The entertainment side of it is better for the neutrals.
Lots of heartache I’ve seen out of this! And I wouldn’t want to play them every week so that in itself is a compliment 🙂

ParticipantPagan, I actually enjoyed that yesterday 😀 It was a 2 hander lockdown between you and Mav lol. He’d be ACE to go out with on a Bender 🙂

ParticipantThey’re not what they used to be Ablab. No fans too.

ParticipantI think Tugay has a point on celebrations. It’s a split-second moment of elation.

ParticipantWell, have some time today to be able to have a look at this, bring it out into the open and gather thoughts from you guys.
Our Next 10 Games. I’ve broken this down into 10 from our second half of the campaign and this includes everything we’re involved in. I feel this could effectively make or break our season.
17th January – PL Manchester United Home
21st January – PL Burnley Home
24th January – FAC Manchester United Away
28th January – PL Tottenham Hotspur Away
31st January – PL West Ham United Away
3rd February – PL Brighton Hove Albion Home
6th February – PL Manchester City Home
13th February – PL Leicester City Away
16th February – UCL – RB Leipzig Away
29th February – PL Everton Home
Obviously, we’re not going to win these all in one hit. I do believe though one of these fixtures early doors could shape where we’re heading in terms of success or failure for this particular season.
I also believe we will win Silverware this season.

ParticipantBrian, a personal request for you to continue to contribute. You’re highly a valuable member here.

ParticipantPagan, you’re right and I do agree. They should be extra careful. Interestingly, I seen earlier this evening on SSN the thoughts of Frank Lampard and Brendan Rogers who put forward their thoughts supporting the players which I also can understand.
It’s those that have probably stepped out of line privately away from football and have exposed themselves. Obviously there’s a small minority, but that’s having a knock on effect and we know this virus has a more powerful rate of transmission.
I suspect with these Managers being supportive of their players in public domain will have strong messages planned and drilled into them (in hope) behind the scenes.

ParticipantConcur with all of that Nine. We’re in very difficult times at the moment and should be pulling together.

ParticipantWorth a read as I seen something of this nature on SSN:

ParticipantReally pleased with this 🙂

ParticipantGetting a bit fed up of it. Referring to this season when 2 of our wins re Everton and Brighton chalked off. Hey Ho. Life Sucks.
Nike19
ParticipantFluctuating by the Bookies slightly unusual. Maybe a reflection of how this season’s been. Only a few weeks ago, we were odds on favourites.

ParticipantEric Bailey and Luke Shaw starting more matches Mav lol 😀 🙂

ParticipantResults have been in good order for United and consistency. Solksjaer is in his 3rd year now. There seems to be more of a steady ship and you can’t begrudge them to be fair as they’ve not in previous seasons have been able to select properly a first 11 due to their own injury matters in players.
City missed La Porte last season and Vinny yet to be replaced.
Our problem is that every given centre-back first team is injured. Van Dijk was early doors. We had a hard combination of fixtures to begin with and a tricky run of late, and haven’t been consistent with our form, yet we are 3 only 3 points behind so maybe a glass half full and some perspective to take into context.
The next run of games could be telling, we shall just have to allow nature to take it’s course.

ParticipantWell, Man United away for the 4th Round.
That tie needs to be ideally pushed on a Monday Night, but will we be up for it?
The 4th round Weekend falls on the 23rd and 24. We play Burnley at home on a Thursday Night on the 21st.
One positive in our favour is that we have 2 home games before the Cup tie at Old Trafford. Important period ahead that could make or break our season.
Nike19
ParticipantOh my god, guess who?

Solksjaer will relish this – Remember 1999

ParticipantPagan, you alright? I’ve not seen you on the Site for a while. Hope You Are Well and Keeping Good.
I’m hanging in there; was at work today and on a 5 day stint but have the whole Weekend off after that so something to look forward too and it’s Liverpool-United, Yikes! 😀
The Gents above all on here have been Fabulous, Committed, and Wholeheartedly Spirited and Caring. It’s what makes this Forum and Credit to them.
We need the Vaccines and around March April Time, some real noticeable change in Life Circumstances and through our Day To Day Living.
Keep Posting mate and I hope things are well with yourself.

ParticipantSean, I’d normally put it down after the ‘euphoria’ of Christmas and the New Year to your regular January Blues.
There’s a dark cloud hanging over all of us. My Neighbourhood is silent, it’s actually a little on the frightening side. I think of those living on their own with no real friends and family and any contact with the outside word. Some sadly have no Internet.
I think mate, it’s the effect once again of no fans. I always think to families and friends being able to come together at a ground and be covered with Winter Coats and their hats and scarfs.
As best as everybody in this industry are doing, we know there’s a sense of emptiness.
Also, there’s too much of a spread of games not only over the weekend, but the different kick-off times and trying to keep track of it all. The early daytime games seem to bring in some spirit. Hopefully the same tomorrow afternoon.

ParticipantNine, I fully appreciate and emphasize with your disappointment on how everything re the FA Cup has unfolded so far and I know you’re on a bit of a downer on this and fair play to you.
Personally, I’m ultra grateful the Sport was given the Green Light by the Government. Life’s tough at the moment as you’re aware. Some of us mate need something over the weekend to occupy us against the daily domestics and work.
I do get your point on a more level playing field as far as players go. This will probably be a one-off (here’s hoping). The only way of this becoming more fairer if they FA intervene and postpone at the very least the original scheduling.
