I see your explanation 3ps from what supposedly is the rules. You can’t be offside from a corner, but from a Goalkeeper’s perspective, unless, the opposition guy is sleeping or point-blank stationery, I refer to my original point in him clearly being there as a ‘decoy’ and a distraction.
Sceptical I remain on this.

I’ve seen this now having given more attention to it:
I mean all in all let’s not kid ourselves; Did Silva really just choose to hover around that particular spot close to the keeper for a Tea Party?
Did he move as the ball was played to make out he wasn’t blocking Jose Sar’s line of vision?
In my mind he WILL be in your eyeline and that means it’s a Distraction which takes away focus from the focal point. So being a cynic about this, this appears to be designed and the rule needs to be looked at.
This is Fergie Time all over again, but in Blue.

Hard to take in what Arne Slot has done so far and I didn’t honestly expect the outcome we’ve achieved so far.

Not seen Sean, unusually for some time. Hope he’s doing alright.
Rub off effect in particular today that impressed me; really going the extra mile tracking back then trying to win back possession cleanly. That had to be. Otherwise, Chelsea could probably have steam-rolled us with goals.
I can’t believe out of 10 games, we’ve let in just 3 goals. Jurgen would be proud of this from Arne Slot so far 🙂

Catch A Breath! Phew!
Best performance from us this season purely from a Team effort POV and the application put in off the ball, defending, being able to read the game, technically more skilful and physically more resilient.
Arne Slot has made a difference with the players he has inherited.
Shout out in particular to Gravenberch in how he’s grown in months to be a real quality midfielder. Jones looks more stronger. The players noticeably are physically better than previous.
Just missed a trademark Jurgen Klopp fist Pump. Wanted Arne Slot to restart the trend 🙂 7 – 0 – Lost 1

Yeah, this is the thing Chucks. It’s probably convenient to use Inter-Break reasoning for hampering the flow of the PL, but when I look at the table; it’s not right now such a big deal. The ones at the Top are under pressure to sustain their position and keep up with the momentum.
Man City have a Ferguson in Pep let’s be outright here. That’s going to be the ultimate separation and the Ferrari that tails off.
I didn’t see a few of those results coming today.
The Positive is that taking away the Blue Man United, the Rest of us at least have HOPE! 🙂
