I think Extras could be a combination for the ‘what ifs’ or should a player leave and most importantly, our Future. Klopp obviously will leave and certainly won’t do ‘a Ferguson’.

Unlikely realistically that no Manager will, but I’m thinking rather than us left faltering, he’ll leave us with a Healthy Squad.

More importantly, all this tells me that we want to try and deliver Title 20 and square with United.

Jurgen is one True Godsend To Our Beloved 🙂

Sean, that’s an interesting thought mate. I watched no too long ago on You Tube certain ex-Liverpool players being interviewed I think after us winning the Title.

A question was asked: “What Result would you change if you could Rewrite History”?

It was Robbie Fowler the question was put forward to and his reply was to change the outcome of the 1996 FA Cup Final.

I think as far as I was concerned personally, that season after was when I started to lose interest in Match Of The Day. I think at that point, TeamTALK was created and that’s where I was heading towards in 97/98.

Looking back, it now feels like one big Tangent 🙂 🙂

Brian @ 5:27, I honestly share that same view, so you’re not alone. There’s innovation for the sake of it. Thank Goodness For You Tube where I’m able to revisit and live those memories.

    Cheers

Brian, I was a fan of Trevor Brooking, Des Lynam and Jimmy Hill (Late). This was when I was a junior growing up. I enjoyed their wit and positivity they brought. In the early 90s, Lineker came in as a side-pundit and the BBC were trying to bed-in more younger blood.

We’re in a Society Brian where now there’s effectively pressure to employee and integrate into the industry females. We’re seeing a younger generation in their 20s and 30s.

In the TV industry, it’s inevitable that these individuals will all have a shelf-life. Some lucky to be there for years and decades and really enjoy a Career.

Question Of Sport was the latest one in line for a reshuffle and from that point of view, I think somebody else should be given a chance.

Yeah, probably just all rumours Gents. I’m genuinely happy with the progress we’ve made in the signings. We have a Playmaker and a Striker which is what some fans have been speaking about and calling for. Either way re Saar, it doesn’t really matter though if somebody can come in to help, then I welcome that.

We’re possibly looking long-term in trying to offload the surplus we have.

It could be the overall vision of our squad in what we want to bring in and sell.

All generally in the right direction 🙂

Hightown, it could be just as a top up on the squad and just fresh legs to bring on and say rest one of the front 3 so we’re using them wisely. We’re likely to play 60 odd games again, so it’s keeping players fit.

Possibly too an ear-mark just in case if for example, we were to lose Mane.

Mak, I think that’s what could be agreed with Saar as more of a back up for the front 3. It would help us with other competitions where we’ve been forced to use our depth.

Perhaps in a way, it would give the front 3 competition and something to think about. Or in innocence, it’s just an extra outlet Klopp is thinking about to bolster his attack.

C67, Thankyou for the kind words. Chelsea will bounce back mate. Werner is Danger with his pace. You need your full complimentary first 11 and then you’ll be firing and pushing Man City and Liverpool.

Brian, I used to enjoy the format in the early 90s where there would 2 or 3 matches shown as highlights, then the rest of the games played on that day.

Long before the Internet, it was the main focal point for me and I imagine others to be able to watch their team on TV. I agree on the volume of stats. Like yourself, I just want to be able to enjoy a good game of football.

The BBC Staff are overpaid and there’s hardly any quality TV now worth watching. It falls back to the debate of justifying Television License Fees.

Mak, its possible that could be in Klopp’s mind so you could be onto something. Makes sense to me. I think with Keita, it’s his injuries.

I remember how brilliant Gomez was before his injury. I like Fabinho in center defence. His positional play and reading of the game fills me with confidence.

I’ve seen the link with Saar. I think realistically, one guy will have to be sold and I think that’ll be Brewster to help fund for Saar.

One final signing would be Ace 🙂

Like a few others, I too was wondering something didn’t right and unusual. Hope you get better Nine. That’s the main thing.

Brian, fully appreciate where you’re coming from. I do remember something about seeing Ian Wright of his younger day. It was weird as it felt as though the programme went on some tangent.

For the reason you’ve highlighted and others, I’ve been tired Lineker’s presenting for years. Find the format of the programme boring and find the football at times negatively over-analyzed by the same pundits.

You’re right. There’s a lot less humour. The problem also is that folk these days are easily offended. There’s so much creativity and imagination lost.

    D/H,

it’s incredible how events can change in literally seconds. Prior to the sending off, we were containing a Chelsea attack and we were heading towards half time.

Possession and high-pressing means lots of energy. If we’re looking at trying to compete in competitions then we’ve gained better depth to be able to rotate and avoid being burnt out or injured.

Not good news in terms of the predictions if we don’t change our behaviour and actions.

D/H, yeah glad to play this fixture early and out of the way. Got one of the Manchester Clubs soon (City I think), so it would be nice to play them.

Encouraged by Thiago yesterday and Fabinho playing center-back. Huge boost for us. Jota still to come and Taki developing and getting better. Maybe we can use Henderson a bit more sparingly going forward.

Sean, yeah that’s what threw me mate on Mane. The same could be said about Werner. It’s a fast game and sometimes, the smallest of contacts can lead to an infringement and a foul.

Pax and I have clashed in the past, but personally as far as these boards go, he’s generally fine and I can get on with him as with most others. He’s just bold and direct, sometimes a tad bit abrasive in his wording, but hope he can come back on. We need Posters and of a different fan-bases and variety.

I think, more than we realize, the speed and intensity of these games are really fast and the grass that’s covered from one end of the pitch to another.

I saw a slight similarity last season on the counter against Leicester at Home with Mane finding the net. Mane is Robust and Athletic. There’s no reason for him to dive when clean through, one-on-one, so don’t understand the remark made on Mane diving when Christensen’s hands were all over him.

It’s very fast and it only takes one moment of infringement to cause an impact and alter the flow of the game.
