I’ve yet to see what Saari actually put out. Seems to me as somebody in a moment and getting used to the Brit Media. Personally, I’ve always deemed this to be a wrong move to place any form of critique in public, purely because of the Vultures in the Media that exist.
Maybe at best, a combination of whatever was going through the Blokes mind. Time will tell though. Personally, I’m not sure as such.
Craig Levein on the other hand slagged his Striker off outright in public. To say the least, completely unhealthy and plainly WRONGFUL.

Trying to hang in there; just find it hard to watch. Not so much the cancelling each other out, but there’s just no entertaining football; no individual skill so far, no nothing.
Barely out of First Gear and consuming time, thus free money!

I just don’t see anybody on the Forums I have been on caring beyond their own Club and the Premier League.
However, I like to believe on here we DO Care and Support. Truly hope for this Gentleman a Full Recovery.
Pagan, Kudos To You Too Kind Sir in going out of your way – beyond refreshing to see thoughtfulness and humanity.

Moos, just hanging in there.
Every other retrospective clip I see on BBC re Solskjaer gives me bad reminders!
I know this a forum where I’ve developed good relationships, but post 1996 FA Cup Final in itself, and Ferguson Steamroll, I would find it hard to be any form of Purist.

Nine, I get you mate.
This is exactly what I was driving at the other day on the Weekend Footy thread. It was nothing to do with here, but comments for example posted by readers on the BBC Website, or say one of the Online Newspapers.
Plus on YouTube for example, there’s always clippings posted of other Broadcasting Networks.
I get what you mean on blowing things out of proportion and only accentuating the Negatives.
Anyway mate, very well done for your victory and fully deserved on the balance of play tonight.

Maybe the remark off the other thread was a reference made to his own club, Man City. I think though, there’s a clear objective there for the club to win the CL.
Not really sure about the comparisons made against other Managers and whether they are a fair measure because some have served more time than others, plus factoring in different eras – thus with the level of increased competition, Major Honours are a lot harder to accomplish.

Yeah, looking forward to tonight’s game too.
Be more interesting for the Neutrals is Chelsea can have a real go and get an early goal.

“Seeeeet down, nobody talk! – we drink water and reeeelaax” 😀
The guy in very recent times has won me over. He takes no nonsense from the Brit Media, and one of the reasons why he’s grown on me a lot is that he treats each cup competition the respect it deserves.
Plus, he has no favourites and asserts his authority well in making players known their starting place isn’t guaranteed.
He’s got more out of certain individuals too like Raheem Sterling.
Good for the Prem and a great fit for Man City.

Well Done Burton Albion for keeping hold of some Pride and Dignity!
Good on Pep too not giving any of his ‘seniors’ an easy ride in this cold climate.
Get The DI ICER and the Gloves out lol 😉 😛

Haha, I like Nine 😀
Completely right on that one mate 🙂
Hopefully and rightfully, the domino effect where Hazard and Kante are rightfully restored to their natural Playing Positions.
Cheers

‘Player Power’ continues to rise with the level of wealth in circulation as far as this industry goes.
Maybe beneath the surface, some Managers out there would relish a Maverick or a Character that can stamp authority on the Pitch, but comes with that is a person who won’t necessarily like to be told what to do and if he is a serious Top Dog, it’s a challenge to try and maintain his loyalty.
And based on above aside Transfer Fee, Player’s Wage and ‘Royalties’, It’s a safer option to for the Manager to buy a Semi-Finished Article, or a younger player they can develop who effectively mild-mannered and won’t upset the dressing room (that rules out Gazza ;-))

Playing players out of position at Leicester under Puel has delivered negative effects which include inconsistent results.
The football has been dire and Supporters are beyond the level of frustration.
I believe from what was rumoured sometime back, there was issues in the dressing room with Ranieri and Vardy. Puel to me is authoritarian but clearly, he’s not getting the best out of his team.
I understand versatility and auxiliary which I really feel excited about in a player, but not if it becomes a detriment to the dynamics of the team.
It’ not so much the positions a player has to adapt to, but if he is also told NOT to play in a certain way, then you’re restricting a player to flourish his full potential and that’s when tensions arise and friction in the relationship between Player and Manager.

Mikus,
unfortunately, there in lies the problem. That type of figure you’ve stated is now deemed a drop in the ocean, but already, there is a better distribution of money in the Prem from TV Revenue.
Clearly, there’s a gulf, and there’s more choice for those in the Prem regularly able to qualify for either Europa or Champions League.
Even for those who don’t the attitudes and mindset from club Hierarchy is changing so the reward for winning a Trophy for the fans comes second and generating Revenue is Priority Number One (plus of course Prem Status).
Players from Teams regularly featured in the First 11 wont be risked.
Sadly to a degree, these are the times we are living in. The polar opposite is those teams below us outside the Prem relish getting past the 3rd, 4th and 5th, because not only is it an outing for them and to play the Big Teams, but it’s a huge pay-out for them in the Piggy Bank.

Never had the privilege of going to Wembley, but always think the FA took a wrong turn and should have left the Old Wembley as it is. I sincerely detest certain Landmarks and heritage being changed – why?
Money and Greed once again which is foolish as it only for the benefit to line their own pockets – nothing else.
It’s like changing Big-Ben. Leave things as they are in my opinion.
Anyway, feel gutted my club don’t or haven’t progressed for years and seeing other Prem Teams win it gets me down. Also, it’s those same Prem teams and their fans that previously look down their noses.
Maybe it’s down to the big squad and priorities thing, but have respect for those clubs and their Managers who have exerted an interest wholeheartedly.
