HUGE 3 points for Pool yesterday, going to come in very handy for the Top4 race I reckon!!
I think we can say goodbye to the Goonies too, can’t see any of Pool, YooUtd or Chelski dropping 8 more points than the Goon Show by the end of the season to be honest.
All we need now is Stoke to show up tonight and make the Top4 race really interesting, keeping 3 points separating 2nd thru 5th… but somehow I doubt it!

Anyway, having seen the line-ups, still going for a City win. City’s attack vs Pool D is men against boys, whereas Pool’s attack vs City’s D is a bit of a score draw…

With regards to comments in certain posts above, I’m in 100% agreement about the disgusting money now involved in today’s game and how I find myself perhaps not as excited about it as I was even a few years ago. It was obscene then mind you, but the last year or two has taken it to a new level. I wonder how long it will be before football finally eats itself?

Love this thread!
I can understand how fans of the teams involved can come up with their opinions, they obviously watch those teams far more than us neutrals, but I really don’t understand how any neutrals can go for anything other than a City win. They’ve lost Wee Phil and that creative spark up top, and even Virgal is a rock at the heart of defense (which he isn’t but that’s for a different thread!), City have the players and the nous to just go around him.
Of the firm belief a City win will occur, just a question of how much!
And Mane’s red card was such a red card it should be entered in the MIB manual as what a red card looks like. How anybody can doubt that is beyond me. Dangerous play all day long and twice on Sundays.

Nice topic… and I don’t mean the chocolate! 🙂
Got quite a huge selection of shirts, the majority are Spuds, with a couple of old Pool shirts (in memory of my dearly departed cousin who for reason never really known was a Pool fan!), and a reasonable amount of England shirts. Not a bad selection of scarfs either.
As for music memorabilia, do have quite an extensive collection of picture discs, the majority collected in the 90’s so a mixture of grunge/alternative bands, but my pride of place there, and completely worthless, are two huge collages of concert tickets collected during that decade…. mean a lot to me and a shed load of silly memories there!
