Sean…that will always happen…you take a risk on any player you buy irrespective of price that he will come out …just right. City have had a few failures recently. As to Maguire, I think Pep thought he may be able to improve him but my feelings are we have had a lucky let off. I never rated him and would rather have our youngsters in.Yes, we do need a LB and CB but I am reminded everytime that Pep does not play with CBs as we know them, Agree with him or not that is his style and nobody will change it, very much a case of creating chances and scoring goals that matter to him. There will be a few changes at City next season. DeGea…I feel sorry for the guy, he is a great keeper having a not so good time but all good players work through it. You have to wonder if he worries about what is in front of him as well. I would not panic over him, he will continue at his level next season

I cannot defend any of the players performance, they were well off the pace. Pep will now know he needs to replace Mendy, who wasted so many opportunities to cross the ball I would have had Foden in for his energy, take him off he was not producing not the other way round Zinchenko a better choice at LB Mahrez quiet, Bernando needed to be on earlier again for his energy and skill. Why did they not pass to Sterling? He was isolated infers half. I am sure Pep knows why but it needs to be sorted. He was right before the match. Semi’s are a mental thing and ours was poor

Ed. and those defeats have happened in the same manner….did not find a way through packed defence, too many off colour but no excuses from me. Arsenal set out there plan, executed it very well and won the match. Good luck to them in Final. Cannot argue with that. I do not prescribe to players being exhausted, it happens to ALL teams and ALL players but this defeat was more about players not beingright for the game.I could not pick out one City player I could excuse, that is rare nowadays, Changes next match.

Sean….like I have said before…the biggest problem in all this is. PEOPLE….they just do not use or abide by common sense. I have little confidence in any politicians of this day and age, whatever party. Football to me is not even secondary in priorities

Just to make you smile Ed. Noticing one of the “ADs” for Aviation Engineers/NL. I though I will have a look at this, maybe they will not notice I am 86 next week and it is. 65 yrs since I last serviced an aircraft, my tool box contained all the spanners etc plus needle and thread because some of the aircraft I worked on half fabric half metal, nevertheless I thought I could service an F=16 OK but then I had to eat a lot of Pancakes since it was based in Holland and it has taken me over two years to stop eating cream cakes. I will have to pass this one up but thanks for the opportunity!!!!!

Apart from two brilliant goals by City we did not play well to night, in fact Bournemouth were the better team and deserved at least a point. Not good enough performance going into Saturday game, I am sure Pep will have a few words to say.

Very true Chuky…but it is happening now and in this country on a large scale. We have child grooming on a big scale, sweat shops, organised crime larger than ever before. It is horrific and we do not have judicial strong enough to deal with it.

Chuky..my view on high/low transfer fees is usually set by the Seller. If they get there price the buying club, even after negations are deemed the “baddie” for inflating transfer fees. Well I guess there is one happy party.

I have to come back one last time to answer Chuky’s point. The e mails were illegally obtained, further , the e mails were subjected to added comment which put a different interpretation on the whole thing.
The guy that did it for UEFA is now under house arrest awaiting trial.
as to the time limit, even with time allowed, the probability would have been UEFA would have won it.
UEFA is a Protection racket for a few

The problem is and will continue to be…PEOPLE…..they have to wait for some Govt guidance instead of using common sense…yes we are a “nanny state”. Why is everyone moaning because they cannot go on a trip abroad? there are options including saving your money for when it counts later
