Great for England and you certainly have to admire Southgates faith in youth unlike so many other shall we say cowardly coaches? Top young players will always perform better due to their energy and enthusiasm. As for Sterling brilliant as he definitely is the reason he is generally disliked is obvious to a lack of genuine or even false charisma. Can’t have everything I suppose. On another note cannot fathom why Dier and Henderson are in the team or even the squad. The rest I think deserve to play for England.

Still only very young I think 48 only, was watching a documentary when 3 geniuses Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix and Jimmy Morrison all died within months of each other and all at a very young age, all overdosed, the music we missed that was still to come from them.

Butland is the only obvious choice now for Chelsea and his not too bad, every keeper has his days, De Gea rated the best in the world had a terrible world cup. Theres always room for improvement as well.

You cannot complete the latest teams at the moment but as the shield is only a glorified friendly more youth players from both teams should have played a part. That’s the only way to find those gems.
