It is embarrassing and one has to move on cause everyone gets it at some point, but at the same time I also think it was necessary to a degree so they can get their act right and make sure these type of serious errors don’t happen again. Remember these guys are probably getting highly paid to do a relatively simple job meaning the Var guys not the ref. I also don’t believe they should send the ref to have a look at the sidelines monitor to review his decision cause that puts enormous pressure on him. Var should make the final decision with those calls.

The reason is once again not Var itself but the people sleeping behind it, we have had bad officials for a very long time in this country probably since the 90s, before that time England was recognised as having the world’s best officials for many years, for some reasons the standards suddenly dropped hugely and never recovered for the past 30 odd years. As far as offside is concerned it should only be offside if your feet are in front of the line as that is the only real way an attacking player has unfair advantage. But that’s another story to be debated. For now one way they can show more transparency is letting everyone listen to what they are discussing and showing us clear lines which I don’t think is top notch at the moment, in fact most times for some reason we don’t get to see the lines anymore.

Not sure if anyone watched the Chelsea Brighton carabo cup game earlier this week where the replay showed Jackson to be onside for his 2nd goal and Broja was blown offside in his own half with the only the Brighton keeper in front of him 😂. There’s no var in that competition so it’s really about inept officials.

In our days those tackles were considered normal, noone even batted an eyelid 😂, if you got hurt it was simply part of the game, I actually did get hurt from a similar tackle but it was on my shin, the whole shin turned blue, the doctor had to freeze it and used something that resembled a normal scissors to turn around and around my shin and take that all dead blue stuff out. He was surprised I didn’t faint or get dizzy.

I never rated Mount highly at Chelsea, he had his moments of form they were not for long periods, plus he wanted to take everything and his corners hardly ever reached the small box. Anthony I never saw before but Onana I did watch in Seria A, very average keeper, de Gea is way better.

I seen on more than a few occasions woman and also children abused by men who think they are the masters, we not living in prehistoric cavemen times or like those dreadful Taliban men. Women need to be cherished and protected. While this particular act may seem relatively harmless it leads to the narrative that men can do whatever they want to do with women and even worse because of his very high ranking ex position.
