I can’t get my head around your lot having a front 4 of Aubameyang, Pepe, Lacazette and Ceballos with probably Guendouzi & Torreira behind them and not scoring shed loads of goals.

Those who support City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and United, the banker teams who normally clean up all the titles and cups year in year out, say he won nothing and I can’t be bothered to argue with that as it’s true.
What I can be bothered to say is…….. he gave my club, that little North London club who never win anything, who always bottle it, who only finished in the top 4 as the usual suspects suddenly were all shit at the same time, the best fucking ride I’ve had, and I’m so very glad you don’t get that.

28 – 1 , I think the circumstances have made Chelsea a better team, would the board have appointed Frank if there wasn’t a transfer ban, don’t reckon they would. Your excellent young players would not have got the game time if the transfer ban wasn’t in place.
You are bankers for a CL place in my mind & with a young team that will only improve, I’d be made up if I supported Chelsea this season.

I’ll take that ,can’t believe West Ham only started to play late in the game, 2 bad goals conceded but Spurs were a decent team in the 1st half.First away win in 10 months which is mad and Dele was a different player.

999, it was only menacing if you were the opposition, the walk to the ground was always interesting especially through the estate where I’ve seen 60/70 year old mums hurling bottles off the balcony’ at away fans. The pubs were always rammed with Millwall and had a wild west atmosphere the only fans that really wound things up were West Ham.

Hightown, I remember Millwall in Div 1,2,3 and 4 they only had a couple of seasons in the top flight 1988-90
but I have known lads from Primary School who have been going home and away since the early 1960’s though a good few spent more time at Her Majesty’s Pleasure .

Being born in Rotherhithe and having a Dad and Uncle who lived and died Millwall I began watching football at The Old Den . They weren’t too good in those days but it was a good day out starting and finishing in a variety of pubs in and around The Old Kent Road.
One Saturday my Dad was ill and a mate of his took me and his son to White Hart Lane to watch Spurs play Leicester, what a feckin an eye opener, huge crowd, great players free flowing football with goals .
I was hooked and kept going back with my Dads mate for two years after which I went by myself meeting up with other young lads I had met at home games and the rest is history.
I’ll always have a thing for Millwall and used to attend a few home and a games every season but got spoilt that one day many years ago in N17.

Cheers Sean , the news of Jose’s appointment has gone down well with some in N17 but I believe he will overspend on average players, unsettle an already unsettled side , fall out with Levy and feck off in a couple of years, I would love to be proved wrong.
Is there a better chance of winning a trophy ? probably yes, are us old ‘uns going to enjoy the football ?? everything says no !!!

I’m trying hard to forget yesterday, Baldy has f….. up and he needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. He kept telling anyone who would listen that there was money set aside for transfers, separate from the pot for the new ground, it’s just a shame he never actually used it , today’s headlines would have been very different.
As Chucky says it was a brilliant ride and I’ll always remember Poch on his knees on the pitch in the CL semi , I hope Poch, Miguel,Jesus and Toni soon return to a club who fully appreciates what they bring to the table, hopefully not in the EPL.
As for Jose, it’s all been said, he is a winner no doubt about that but manager of Tottenham Hotspur?? Ten years too late I reckon.

It seems the vultures are hovering over N17, the press are stirring the shit as usual, they seem convinced Poch is on his way and have a shortlist of 106 to replace him,and Harry Kane is in advanced talks with every club on earth.
Whatever is going on at the club started before a ball had been kicked this season , us the lifelong supporters may never know as that isn’t Poch or Levy’s style. I find it hard to lay all the blame on Daniel Levy who has built a training ground to die for and one of the best stadiums in the world, something had to give and that’s the money to buy the sort of players the club so badly needed .
We are what we are , if we aren’t good enough to get a European place so be it , after 57 years I’m used to it, yup we are going backwards.

Mav, can’t argue with Spurs going backwards but ‘Arry going up Norf, nah .
I have high hopes that Lo Celso will give him the service that Eriksen can’t be arsed to give. We need Foyth to have a run at RB where he plays for Argentina and get Sess on the left, we haven’t had fullbacks bombing forward since Walker and Rose an age ago.
I’m expecting to finish 6/7th at best.

Chucky, don’t get me wrong I would like to stick with Poch but wonder if his heart is still in it.
If and when Jan, Christian ,Wanyama, Danny Rose & Toby go, we will need to buy 2 CB’s of quality. I’m hoping Lo Celso will be our new playmaker and I like Disco and Ndombele together. If he has faith in Foyth and Sess that would offset Aurier and Rose moving on.Throw
Getting Dele back to his form of 2 years ago would be like a new signing, lots of if’s and buts .
There is a nucleus of a very good team but only if the club spend big again , will Poch stick around for MK 2 , who knows ????

27, you make good points regarding our Joe ,but I honestly believe if the club gets ££m’s for the naming rights he will sell up rather quickly, especially as you point out he’s 82.
I’ve enjoyed the ride these last 4 years and I’d be a liar if I didn’t say I want more, but I believe now is the time for Poch to bow out with dignity rather than get dragged down to where we came from.
