19th November 2019 at 7:53 pm #53190Jose seems to be the front runner for the job but I said before I could see Howe take over. Or Rafa if he really is looking to stop his China experience short.

19th November 2019 at 7:58 pm #53193No away win since January. Whatever the context of investment or lack of in recent years, a manager at a top 6 club wonβt survive that.

19th November 2019 at 8:12 pm #53196Come as a bit of a shock. Seems like this time away from the Prem was used for the Board to reflect and make a decision.
I picked up on Jose rumours online, I wonder if they are true.

19th November 2019 at 8:15 pm #53197Mav, that’s a good route to choose. You need though that ilk of a former Spurs player with pedigree and history – maybe some coaching/managerial experience.
Not sure mate off the top of my head of any names.

19th November 2019 at 8:27 pm #53200I think itβs a raw deal Mikus to be honest.
Spurs have let big players run down contracts.
He should have been given a bit of time to turn it around. He at least deserved that
Jose be in there. That will only end one way
Really hope we donβt see him in the pl again

19th November 2019 at 8:33 pm #53203I agree with Sean I think Poch has been let down by Levy.
Poch has been denied new players by Levy and players have been allowed to run their contracts down by Levy Poch isn’t beyond criticism but the ground has been cut from under his feet and he’s paying for it with his job.

19th November 2019 at 8:36 pm #53204Given that Poch and his whole Coaching staff have been dismissed Spurs must already have someone else teed up and that’s probably more likely to be someone not contracted elsewhere.

19th November 2019 at 8:41 pm #53205It has to be Jose nine.
It be very interesting as I just canβt see him and levy getting on. He will wNt full control and plenty of money
And how would chelsea fans react going to an arch rival as he is a Chelsea legend

19th November 2019 at 8:46 pm #53207So the days of Spurs being known as an attractive, attacking footballing side will be well and truly laid to rest!

19th November 2019 at 8:58 pm #53209Of course Levy has some audacity shifting all the blame on Pochettino, but at the same time, Pochettino knew what he was signing up for when he signed his long contract. And the chairman was always going to win out over the manager. So Poch has been used, but at the same time heβs arguably let himself be used.
As for successors, it all depends on whether Levy is finally prepared to now spend some money. If so, he can perhaps attract a big name. If not, he needs to find another miracle worker.

19th November 2019 at 9:01 pm #53210Sean, what little legacy Jose had left with Chelsea fans after going to United would be totally destroyed if he moves to Spurs.
But to be fair Jose needs a job and Spurs need a Manager.
