The Tchouameni talk has been ramping up here in Spain the past couple of days. The usual Madrid mouthpieces reporting that he can go for 100M euro. Apparently Romano also confirmed it last night for what it’s worth. Dont know what to make of it. Same fee and salary that Spurs paid for Fernandes basically. Just seems steep for a player who is 27 next January and will have no sell on value. The groups i’m in seem 70/30 split on him. The majority think he is world class. I’ve had to watch a lot of Spanish football over the past years and he has never stood out to me. You could see Valverde was going to be a quality player early but never thought much of Tchouameni other than he was a grafter.

TT reporting that Tchouameni is willing to move to Man Utd AND take a pay cut IF Real say they don’t want him. I don’t know N1xer, we need a grafter, someone who is willing to do the dirty work. He’s looked very capable for France, just makes it look easy. If we sign him now on a 5 year deal he’ll be 30/31 when his contract enters its final year and he should still hold decent value if we decide to sell.

TT also reporting that Bergvall would be available for £50m. Very young player, still has potential. Is £50m too much for a player that would still be a squad player if he moved? There’s no guarantee that Spurs would sell to us ven if we actually wanted him.

He’s basically an energizer bunny, with that mop of blonde hair standing out from a mile away so you never miss him, have got a great pair of lungs on him and certainly tries hard… but not a top 4 or even 6 player… he might come good in 3/4 years… and I think he’ll be great in a slower league… but I don’t think he has the “nauce” to play in the Prem… the Swedish Conner Gallagher!!
Now, Archie Grey… reckon there’s a England Captain in there…. just stay away from him please…
