Not sure about Summerville mate, haven’t seen enough of him. But if he came in, surely Mbeumo or Amad has to go. And what would you get for either of them? Every player we bring in drops in value, usually because they’re not very good.

Spurs has had a bid of £75M rejected by Newcastle for Tonali; they really aren’t messing about this season and giving De Zerbi what he really needs to compete.

@Maverick we never were concrete about Olise because even before Bayern signed him in 2024 Olise’s talent and potential in the EPL was already known but he just wasn’t media hyped hence why the club didn’t take him seriously because they only sign media hyped thras like Antony.

Yeah, it’s not an either or happy, we need two more to add to Ederson.
And maverick, of the three of Cunha, Mbeumo and Amad, I’d keep Cunha mate, irrespective of who plays where.

Diggy – Yeah Cunha can be an option there but i think our best performances under Carrick have come when Mbeumo was the No. 9 and Sesko from the bench. As for that left wing i’m hoping Dorgu has a big season this year.

I thought he started really well and then faded badly after the AFCON, like Amad too. I think its quite hard to change manager and system mid season and still maintain good form. Let’s see what happens next season hopefully him and Cunha are a little more consistent.

Maverick just take the last zero off, it´s just inflation… Scott Parker went for 14 million back in 2004, Vieira went for 20 million to Juventus in 2005 and Chelsea exploded the market with Essien which irrelevant as Chelsea broke rules that season. Before that in 1995 we had Clarence Seedorf going for 4 million in 1995, Paul Ince went for 7.5 to Inter. If you have revenue you are forced to pay top prices for players as far back as professional football has existed.

I don´t actually see prices going that high in the next 5 years but we are gonna start seeing players going for 200 million soon enough. Every other transfer window and then suddenly someone will pay 400 million, another will pay 750 million. Then we hit a billion and we keep going.
