CL football and over £100m in player sales should help somewhat JM. Plus the normal annual budget that the club generates should give us another healthy £250m to spend this summer.

I know the debt is an issue but i think Ratcliffe is working on that side of the business behind the scenes. From a transfer budget perspective i still think we’ll spend more than we did last summer because of the factors i mentioned above. We’re even getting about £30m from Amorim and Greenwood! 🙂

It doesn’t look like the club are planning on reducing the debt anytime soon so payments are captured in our current spend model.
If they were serious about reducing the debt our transfer plan would be along the same lines as Brighton, Bournemouth etc.
Ratcliffe is most likely penny pinching in other areas to improve cashflow rather than reduce debt.

There’s loads of interest in Rashford from Arsenal to Bayern Munich so i’m sure he won’t “be back next season” in any capacity. Maybe to do some training but that’s about it.

We’re taking our time getting shot of Rashford, Zirkzee and Ugarte and there’s been no mention of Mount, who we should also be looking to shunt, not to mention half a dozen others I’d fuck off but we won’t. And, quite frankly, having signed Ederson, I’m not drooling over the others we’re being linked with. We desperately need some pace, but Summerville? But then where the fuck do Cunha, Mbeumo and Amad fit? We also need another very athletic CM and a ball playing CM, because I’m simply not convinced about Mainoo. And every man and his dog are chasing the same players. Could be a long, painful summer.

@jm i did mention the lad before the France game, and although he is only 19yrs old but he is purely a DM and plays with such maturity in the middle. This Moroccan team plays with the same intensity from start to finish because the whole team are athletic.
