Bowen’s good, but he’s nowhere near to being top class so I very much doubt that any one of ourselves, Liverpool or any Champions League club will be bidding for him this summer, especially as he’s pushing 30 years of age, and it would cost big money to get him out of West Ham as he’s a big fan favourite. I can actually see him staying at West Ham for the foreseeable.

Gordon is totally overrated, another example of the English media hyping him up. On top form he’s a top player but his top form is far too sporadic for him to actually considered a top player. His ego is also a problem, he’s not nearly as good as he thinks he is.

Agree maverick, Gordon’s ten times the player Mbeumo is. Quick, direct, a constant threat and scores goals. He’s also a decent bloke, which a rare characteristic for a footballer these days.

I think Cunha’s had a decent first season. Hopefully, more goals next season when we have a more mobile midfield pairing.

The experiment of playing Mbeumo at No.9 needs to end this season although that’s where majority of his league goals came from.
Cunha has done well this season in my book.

Maverick, compare both record in the premier league. You’ll find that Mbeumo has better figures. Certainly Gordon isn’t 10 times better. 10 times quicker I grant you that.

Also not saying we didn’t over pay for Mbeumo, just think if Newcastle are offered 70 million they should snap the buying club hand off. Forgetting about Mbeumo and Cunha for one minute. Would you be happy if we spent £70 million on him?

Dee – I think our best performances under Carrick have come from Mbeumo in the No. 9 role haven’t they? Those first 2 games against City and Arsenal were with Sesko on the bench. And then that game on Sunday our xG (braces for over reaction) was 4.29 which is mad. Think that’s our highest of the season. But i guess xG doesn’t account for a Zirkzee!!

Crazy to sign Rodgers unless we are thinking of off-loading Bruno. But in the form he is in it would have to be a huge offer.
Can see us going for two holding players or a holding and a box to box player rather than the more advance position of Rodgers.
Rodgers would be a great replacement for Bruno whenever he might leave though.

Rodgers is a really good player but instead of getting him for huge coins i rather we give Cunha that free role at No.10 and use the Rodgers money to get a really good LW or 2good LW because Rodgers will cost upwards of 80M and we all know Cunha will smash it at No.10
