I know lads, and we all know that Gordon, for example, is a boyhood Liverpool fan, so highly unlikely he would join us.Rodgers would cost close to £100m, and Palmer even more! Anderson is tipped to join City, and Wharton is wanted by heavyweights like Bayern and Real.So,all in all, just a wishlist!

Firstly, if we secure Champions League football next season. There’s absolutely no chance the club will sell Bruno. (If a big European club moves in for him, he might decide to move himself. Which I wouldn’t blame him). Why would the club sell him for £57 million? Maybe it’d be different if we already had a strong Midfield. They’ll offer him an improved contract (if he rejects it, then they have to sell him before he goes on a free). I don’t for one minute think he’ll do that.
We need to prioritise defensive midfield. Even though he’s 32 it’s different from the Salah scenario. Once your pace goes as a wide man it’s evident immediately. Modric played at a high level late in to his 30s.
Secondly. There’s absolutely no chance of massive wholesale changes next season as some people want. For one the PSG model wouldn’t work the same in the premier league as it’s more competitive than Ligue1 in France. I agree with many of the players people have mentioned but we have to be realistic about how we go about it.
Thirdly. Trying to be positive, the ability to finish in the top 5 is in our hands, we’re not having to rely on other clubs dropping points. Right now am I confident not really but this is the time to get behind the team.

BTW rumours circulating around Manchester that De Ligt has got some sort of mental issue rather than a back injury going on after the breakdown of his marriage late last year. Not being funny, but if that is the case it’s a fucking disgrace that just wouldn’t be allowed in any other walk of life, and it only further confirms my view that the game has well and truly fucking gone to the dogs.
Funnily enough I did think there was something fishy going on when I saw Carrick looking a bit flustered and unwilling to really discuss it when he was quizzed at his presser a few weeks ago.

I said it ages ago that something sounds very fishy with the De Ligt “back injury”. No one is even asking what the injury is so the media have obviously ben briefed that its sensitive.

Martinez for sure Blacky. Probably with Maguire next to him whilst Yoro and Heaven continue their development at ages 19 & 20!

Some of yall are really deluded on here 🤣🤣 …

First of @Happy you wana go into next season with Martinez, deligt, Maguire, Yoro and Heaven as the center back options.. only Yoro and Heaven can make appearances consistently unlike the rest but sadly the club share the same opinion as you..

Secondly we can sign more than 5 first team players if the club makes smart decisions by prioritizing what the team needs instead of what the club media wants.. 3rdly we have seen other teams over time sign more than 8players every season without a hitch..

Barcelona and PSG were in a decline after spending on marquee signings and they ripped it all up and instead focused on hungry young talented players and look at them now.
