Blacky – It’s just a couple of really bad, unlucky and long term injuries for Martinez. That’s why he’s missed so many games. He’s not a massive crock like Shaw who does his calf and hamstring and groin every few months. Martinez has been really unlucky. If he can get back to full fitness then he will absolutely start in the heart of the team next season.
But if he gets another bad injury it’s over for him.

@happy – Get real pal, he’s just missed the last 2 months with a fucking calf strain!😂😂 He’s an unreliable fucking crock and he always will be, and we just cannot risk putting our heads in the sand and ignoring the situation and failing to act any longer, especially with De Ligt’s pathetic situation. Not only that, he’s just not very fucking good!
The time is right now to fuck him off for whatever we can get before his contract runs out next year. We need someone who can play 45 to 50 matches per season, simple as that._____________________________

@Diggy go back n read my post … i stated Barca tried the marquee signing route and it didn’t yield desired results hence they changed their approach; also Rapinha and kounde weren’t marquee players when Barcelona signed them, they were both signed from Leeds United and Sevilla. another point i said teams sign up to 8players every season “emphasis on teams not just one team”.
In my opinion signing only 5players will not help us compete in the league and Champions league next season.

Andy Robertson, Salah, Bernado Silva etc these players have contributed more for their respective clubs than our geriatric lot yet they are willing to leave so their club can grow further… is it too much to ask the likes of Shaw and Dalot who have been at the club for ages without any meaningful contribution to kindly just leave so they can be replaced 🤣🤣🤣

Much as Pep annoys me he gets his players to work like dogs. Even when Klopp was at Liverpool they ran like animals. They knew that under Klopp and Pep, if you strolled about you’d ne out of the team.

Dee, unfortunately you miss the point that if we get Champions league football making too many changes to the first 11 will have as much of a negative impact as not making any changes at all. We all agree that changes are needed and while I agree that we probably do need to make 8 changes to the first 11 before we can even think about challenging for the league. You can’t do it over one summer transfer window.
It about making the right signings in the summer first. Quality over quantity_____________________________

Diggy .. I agree about quality over quantity but there are players out there who are much more better than the lot we have at the club also Arsenal signed 7team players last season of which the only player who isn’t getting much game time is Norgaad and Chelsea signed 10 albeit spreading their contracts over 10 years.
We are already shite so saying signing 7/8 first team players might affect the team negatively isn’t an actual fact as the team is still currently negatively impacted by it’s own current standards.
@MuFC.. under Pep and Klopp if you don’t run or do your part you get sold simple as that; such an example was Cancelo. But at Man Utd they reward mediocrity. Phil Foden has been shite this season and he doesn’t get game time but if Foden was at Man U he would be pampered with fans and Club making excuses for him._____________________________

We need both quality AND quantity this summer, which means being far more imaginative in the market than we currently are, because for the last 20 years we’ve been the biggest fucking mugs out there.
There are a few good options who’s contracts are up and who wouldn’t want a fortune in wages, Senesi and Wilson to name just two out of what much be a pretty long list throughout Europe so instead of spunking 50 million quid on any old useless clown like Ugarte we need to work in a much smarter way much like Brighton and Bournemouth always manage to do year after year._____________________________

Spot on Blacky … but these players won’t be looked at by the club because they don’t have star power or media hyped … instead of giving Maguire a new contract i would have suggested replacing him with Senesi who is equally experienced.
So Bournemouth are already lining up Marco Rose to replace the Leaving Iraola .. now that’s a club with a clear plan ..

Lots of games next season so we need a lot of players who are not injury prone. So we need to fuck off with such players we already having. Imo we need 3 new cmf players one of them should be Tanaka, 1-2 cb, goalkeeper, striker, lb and god knows what is happening on the right flank both in attack and in defence.

Let there be no doubt, Ole wanted both Sancho and Varane and was also more than happy that we bought the wankster and slabhead for a combined fee of 130 million smackers. He also wanted Martial to get a big new contract, and was also manager when Phil Jones got yet another new deal.
