Whatever else might need solving until Chelsea solve the striker connundrum we will struggle to score goals there’s not enough goals through the rest of the team and no matter how much you dominate the game if you don’t score goals results like this happen. Aussie you have been saying for a long time our luck will run out and no doubt one day you will be right, but why the eternal pessimism? Each to their own and all that but I will never understand a fan who goes into a match feeling already defeated. We are still there with City and yeah they may pull away at some point but so far they haven’t. I’m going to enjoy this while I can.

I actually missed it, wasn’t being shown in Germany. First match in think I’ve missed this season.

Very happy about Keita. People say we miss Coutinho but I say we miss Ox more with his directness, ability to change the pace during transition and to commit players. I really hope Keita can fill this void.

As expected, Jose and the team have few issues getting motivated in the big games this season. But doesn’t that just show, regrettably, how players are now playing for themselves when the big cameras are on them, but against the lesser sides, the performance drops off as the TV audience level drops. Same used to be true of Liverpool who often performed in the big games but less so against the lesser sides. One things for sure then – that clash between the two on Dec 16 will be huge. Jose no doubt already planning that one, and Klopp has yet to beat a Mourinho Man Utd side.
