I get Rashford became toxic in the end and i agree we rightly moved him on. (Not to replace him with Joshua fucking Zirkzee but that’s a different story.) I’ve seen Gordon play well a handful of times and never consistently well for more than a couple of months. So i’ll wait for him to score 30 goals and have 10 assists in a season before i declare he is 5 times better than Rashford!!

I’ve seen two separate reports today, one linking us with Dusan Vlahovic of Juve on a free, and another linking us with Danilo, formerly of Forest, of Botafogo. Botafogo don’t want to sell until after the World Cup in case his value skyrockets. Both would be good if not great additions but do we really want Vlahovic who is essentially the same kind of striker as Sesko?

Yes Vlahovic is 26 years Old and yes kinda similar to Sesko but he is a professional through and through with a good scoring record and can create too; so him on a free is a no brainer plus we also have fat man and Cunha who can also play CF.
Rashford coming back should not even be an option regardless if Carrick wants him or not; i can guarantee the kind of fraud Rashford is and that’s exactly why Barca aren’t jumping the Gun to keep him. A disloyal cunt through and through and anyone who is advocating for him to be reintegrated to the squad needs to have his brain checked including the new Manager Carrick.

Surely if Barca don’t want him we should try to sell elsewhere, but if there are no takers he gets a chance in pre season. If he walks around disinterested again we don’t waste a squad space on him, but it’s unlikely we won’t have a squad space for him given the rules.
As long as he doesn’t prevent us registering someone else then there’s no harm in having him in the squad – Carrick can always banish him to the kids if he plays up again.

With the rules on non-EU players in Spain I would guess Rashford has no chance of staying at Barcelona if Gordon does sign for them.

Strong rumours here in Barcelona that the plan is to get Rashford on another year long loan. Apparently Barcelona think if Rashford fucks us about and refuses any other move then we’ll fold late in the window and agree another loan. Just want rid of the prick at this stage regardless.

Saw some clips of Ederson and apparently he is a hybrid midfielder. Something between 6 and a 8. Lots of interceptions and a ball carrier. Not a clean dmf but gets the dirty job done everywhere. The thing is Mainoo is another hybrid midfielder who strolls around between 8 and 10. If Carrick has anything to say about midfield he should sign specialists such as a clean number 6 or are they trying to build a prime Barca midfield, good luck with that😂.
