Looks like Anderson’s off to Citeh which is fine. If he doesn’t want to come to us we don’t want him and shouldn’t try to persuade him. Similarly, if Tonali’s agent is talking to Madrid, we don’t want him either. We should only sign players who are committed to United and no one else.

I see Scholes has come out and said that United needs to sell 8 players,like Ugarte,Shaw,Mount Yoro,Dorgu,let Arry leave along with Case.But keep the likes of de Ligt and Dalot.Spot on about the 1st,completely wrong about the 2nd group of players! I think United did well keeping Maguire for one more year: we will need to sign a top class CB if we get CL football so Maguire can stay for one year as backup / simply as an experienced pro and then, once our new CB settles through the season, Maguire can be let go at the end of 2027.
As to Scholes’ comments, I’d give Yoro and especially Dorgu more time (the latter was doing great before his unfortunate injury).
Dalot has to be the first one out the door though!

Mainoo signing a new contract meant they would never fully commit to getting Anderson as both players occupy the same position for both club and country even though Mainoo is overhyped because he came through the academy.

I think Wilcox was in agreement that Rashford was having a negative impact on the squad. Even if Carrick was open to the idea of him returning i don’t think Wilcox would entertain it. sympathy no sane United fan should be happy we have players like Arry,Shaw,Case,etc, let alone giving them new contract.Just watch PSG, and think what teams like them, Bayern, Real, would do to us if we go into the CL with the current squad! Olise looked like a ballet dancer the other night, reminded me of how effortless Zidane made everything look. anyone know what’s going on with musiala? is he out of the first eleven now or is he just coming back from injury? he was their star man for a time. the way Bayern rotated yesterday was a joy to watch. incredibly difficult to mark. and they are all willing to take on players, like football used to be.
