1-0 up!
Elsewhere at Elland Road – Leeds maintain their 2-0 lead and Norwich remain being 2-0 down at Deepdale.

Haha, it’s all good Chucks no worries. I’m here mate so just keep doing what you’re doing.
Haven’t actually got any footie on mate and just in front of the box so just seeing online updates –
I am here in spirit – and it’s getting quite chilled and my cue for a shot of a relaxing Single Malt, ha 🙂 🙂

Mav, you guys have improved mate, make no mistake and its a shed load better than how it was under Jose and you are in contention for 4th,
But there equally needs to more work against the better teams.
You need a quality consistent back 4 and that takes time in getting it right.
Some people to me are kidding themselves if they think they’ve gone up significantly in notches and back to Elite.

De Gea making a string of saves – again! Is there something else to this than meets the eye?

Just catching up with all this, need to get some radio thoughts.
Monday’s Cup Tie’s gonna be really interesting – can’t see Chelsea lose the way they did, especially at Stamford Bridge.

Same as what everyone else has so far mentioned – Best Wishes WIB.
I sadly lost a cousin brother overseas at the age of 34 with his health deteriorated. It was purely down to red-white blood cells.
Christmas just gone was quite sombre in our household with our thoughts spared. I received the news whilst Wolves played Liverpool on the 21st. That was it, TV turned off and everything, as none of that mattered.
He was in India, and didn’t really have the opportunity to build any life due to his health. It makes us think how lucky we are with a job, car, a roof over our head, and we should be thankful in what we have.

Good for you Nine 🙂
Didn’t want to make a thread but just a mention to Judd Trump who has just won Snooker’s World Grand Prix Final against Ali Carter and his Second Ranking Tournament Win from 2019 having Won The Masters beating The Rocket.
Judd’s got a fantastic game on him who’ll take on any type of shot, and has a supportive Brother, family and a great network of people. Just an extremely decent, down to earth pro and a huge asset to have in the Sport.
Well Done Judd Mate 🙂
Now onto the Welsh Open 🙂 🙂

Adlab,
Totally agree from a Neutral Perspective.
I hear you in Sergio not receiving anything and he most dearly is an unsung hero. A Fantastic Servant to Manchester City.
He’s already well represented for his club and could be deemed already as an Ambassador.
Only 30 years of age and it seems he’s been around for hundreds of years.
In my reckoning, many more to come from him as long as he stays minimal in injury.
Another good 5+ years, here’s hoping – though not to score any against Liverpool as a disclaimer (Ha! 🙂 )
Cheers

Nine,
not all doom and gloom mate. It’s a very painful defeat, but you can turn things around. Top 4 still to play for along with the League Cup Final.
All The Best Mate.
P.S. V good shout on Lamps and he so far seems to be doing more than a decent job for The Rams
Cheers

Makes you appreciate previous examples in Claude Makalele, Michael Essien and Jon Obi Mikel – that might be another debate though altogether haha 🙂 🙂

I don’t know to a big degree whether Cescy is missed but question marks raised on Jorginho and his teaming up with Kante. Away from home you need these guys to pull together to protect the back 4.
David Luiz looked absolutely nervous. As the game unfolded, it was more than apparent these guys looked disjointed.
I absolutely felt for Hazard and HiguaÃn today – proper Top Quality players. Why no Willian today I don’t get that. Ross Barkley quiet as well and pegged back than somebody that could pose a threat.
To compete against a side like Man City, you have to be able to hold authority in ALL playing areas.

Sean, I was think along those lines too mate. We have to basically be at our best.
As Nine rightly points out, City look more determined than ever. I don’t know whether this is any way fudged or impaired by the lack of tactical nous re both Arsenal and Chelsea, but you can’t take away the fact that both were emphatic victories.
The job was done at Everton. We’ll just have to wait and see how the remainder of the season pans out and what impact will the Champions League have on both Liverpool and Man City.
Got to keep ploughing…..

It is very easy to talk about what went wrong as far as the losing team goes, but you have to give a mention to this man SERGIO AGUERO – Hat-trick Hero. He really is on another level altogether and a JOY if you just like Football. 🙂 KUDOS.

It was reported the reasons in Gini’s recent absence. He was basically throwing up and had sickness. I believe he was one of Klopp’s first signings when at the helm. As with Sadio.
Great professionals and so far have stuck it, brilliantly in serving for their club.
