Reports suggest Ox is due to have a scan, but was taken off yesterday as a precaution and this was related to his hamstring and not his most recent injury.
Hopefully, it’s a thumbs up, but I get the feeling he won’t be rushed into first team action anytime, I just hope I’m wrong.

I plead Ox can return to our First Team Sooner rather than later – hate and in PAIN as a Supporter, the ‘Stop-Start’ and Anxiety. Hate It.
We have to hang in there and just Hope For The Best.
Speedy In Recovery OX – We Love You.

Adlab, I would pretty much endorse and repeat everything what Sean has highlighted.
The formation switch definitely would accommodate Shaqiri. For the first time notably in the post-match conference, Klopp was laconic and what usually is quite lengthy was done and dusted within 7-8 minutes.
Not his usual chirpy vibrant and measured self, and slight signs of toys out of the pram. He also misunderstood one of the questions asked and was quick in being defiant. This is probably purely down to a bad day in the office.
We got to wipe away these negative vibes and focus positively in winning games. There is a chance of us changing positions soon due to Man City’s FA Cup involvement, and should that successfully happen, then the pressure falls back on them.

There is a difference of just one point.
Let the dust settle and genuinely, all is not bad. I’m still sensing optimism, but we must find inventory in ourselves as far as attack goes and Klopp needs to take risks.
We basically need to win all the batch of games for the rest of this month and that includes the clash with Spurs to really get the momentum going and ensure we stay in touching distance.
There has been in the past Title Races where it’s gone literally right to the wire cue 1994/95 and 2011/12.

Winning silverware is the ultimate measure of success Mikus. All valid points you make despite the fact that I dearly love Klopp and I practically want him at the helm for as long as he can be.
Too many years without the League Title and more than half a dozen without any Silverware. Irony is, we have genuinely assembled a great group of players who are pukka. These guys are committed and dedicated.
It’s a big ask though of them to deliver every single week at optimum level. Andy Robertson a class example. For all the criticism Man City receive, they are the Model with the size of the squad and quality. One piece of Silverware already won and they are tipped to win all 4.
This is where Liverpool need to be and what the Club and The Manager have to aspire to.

Klopp’s point about the wind is a valid one. There was a genuine heavy storm last night and warnings on travel.

The League had more money pumped into in, but when you strip away the hype, the ribbons, the marketing and the syrup pouring from Sky, you can see how competitive it is and definitely not one-sided.
Realistically, at the very least 5-6 teams have a chance of winning it out of 20. Sure, you’d like it to be more, but for many others, there’s Europa League Spots to aim for.
I stopped and gave up with La-Liga – can no longer stand Real Madrid. That is where I feel there’s corruption. As far as Scots go, it’s always been between Rangers and Celtic – maybe a bit of Hearts, but that’s as good as it gets.
I may give up actual forums, but won’t throw in the towel in hoping my club can win trophies, far from it. This is one of passions aside my hobbies – an ultra form of happiness in my life seeing my team win matches and progress.
They’ll be difficult times of course; that’s the test of our metal. People have their opinions, but it’s then down to me whether I wish to agree and accept it.

I think we’re getting to the point of extreme. Nobody has genuinely alluded to ‘jumping on a table and sing’. That’s just nutty.
Just had a read of Teamtalk incidentally; a couple of good points, to cut/paste:

My suggestion to fellow Pool fans; don’t feel upset, angry or bitter about today; accept it for what it is and look forward, positively.
Loads to look forward too, and looking forward to Bayern Munich away.

Brian, haha π
Onto my point in every other team fighting for something.
No fixture what ever appears on paper is straight-forward.
A test of Skill, Endurance, and Mentality π

Mak, it’s a point and a perfectly valid one.
Why be pessimistic or accentuate the point of pessimism? I enjoy and love the sport, a lifetime and have been through the good, bad and ugly, make no mistake.
I’m not really in acceptance of being made to feel inferior or reach to that point in placing people on a pedestal. It’s never a ‘character assassination’. It’s the comments I find myself reading consistently from that Poster.
And please, I’d much rather refrain from entering any argument. I’m perfectly happy now in where we are and I’m now looking positively what we can do collectively to improve our situation.

Definitely the worse thing to happen is to get knocked out of the Champions League. I want us to go right the way to the Final – love it.

Adlab,
that’s just a plethora of options mate from those names mentioned. World Class in my opinion. You’re getting over the line of late. Something we ourselves are failing to do of late.
It helps as you’ve won trophies and are. That I’m sure helps in a very big way as far as mindset goes.
Best Footballing squad overall for me.

Mak, I totally get you mate on your response to Coutinho.
He appeared in my mind against our current stock of attacking players on the pitch, the little gem that was our ‘get out of jail card’.
Haha wishful thinking π
Yeah, that was the point on a ‘maddog’. Always think back in the heyday of Gabriel Batistuta. He would take shots from anywhere and he was powerful, but most importantly persistent and determined. These traits and ingredients you need.
Rodgers’ 2013/14 were more lethal than Rafa’s 2008/09. The problem with Rodgers’ team is that he had no Van Dijk, Robertson, and Allison.
I would never discount Mane, Firmino and Salah as they are mind blowing on their day, but we don’t have secondary individuals outside those 3 that have in their locker, goals they can pull out; like a Phillipe or a Gerrard.

Oz, not to be rude mate, but your point just sounds like a told you so. It’s a bit of a co-incidence you appear to ‘make your point’ when the chips are slightly down.
Do you have something positive to add mate or just something constructive?

We need a ‘maddog’ type of a striker like Costa. Somebody ruthless. Goodison never mind 12th, had a 13th man and Huge Credit to their Supporters.
Their guys are alright. I like Marco Silva. It’s a Mersey Derby at the end of the day, and as I’ve mentioned earlier on today, every team regardless of their Prem position have something to play and fight for.
