That’s so criminal. you know, I have a huge issue with the reffing this seasons.

I want to say a lot more but its going to come across as some “we didn’t win” anger, and that’s a real thing for sure but that was a crazy decision.

If that wasn’t a penalty then I don’t know what I’ve been watching all these years. studds first into the chest, but he got a tiny bit of the ball, so fuck you and your wife and kiss your buises.

The refs have been handing out these collections of decisions to the oil clubs.
I think that I am down with football after this season.
It’s obviously not being officiated don’t he level.

I think we’re taking too many touches. We have a few young lads in there though and I don’t think Szoboszlai is fully fit yet. He’s trying but his sharpness doesn’t quite look there. I say this but he kinda dipped anyway, so look we’ll see.

What ever happened to Dominic Calvert lewin? I haven’t been following him this season. is it a continuation of his injury issues? I never hear about him anymore. he used to be a decent player.

Ya Threeps, I was talking about teams parking the bus. I find that to be a frustrating style of football but you’re not wrong, it does suit City, as they will pass from side to side until they find that bit of space and then that tactic is destroyed once more.

Other sides do need to be a bit braver with them alright but they never are.

I put a few euro on us to win, as I think they are kinda generous with the odds for once. That isn’t me being super confident that we’ll win but I don’t think we’ll lose.

City have the best squad in world football. They are the freshest team in the game. they haven’t suffered injuries because they can rotate players in and out all the time.
this is the main issue I have with their financial doping.

I said it before and people disagreed then and they will likely disagree now but I think that Liverpool has the best 11 in the PL. I am not talking about a best collection of 11 world class players, although we do have some of the best int he world in some positions. I am saying that our first 11 (fully fit, fresh etc) is the best in the PL. It is too thin though IMO. We don’t have the quality to rotate enough and it costs us more injuries.

Threeps, I agree except for our injuries but looking at the players whoa re now available and seemingly fit, we’re not in the worst shape ever.

I am not ruling out a win for us at all. I’m still not over-the-top confident but you’re right, we’re top of the table right now because we’ve been the best team so far.
I am still a bit worried that our injuries have caused some wear and tear amongst those who are available. We looked tired 2 matches ago. getting the few players back though might shift the load a bit.

I’ve bet on Liverpool to win.
The bookies arent giving us a snowball’s chance but City haven’t beaten us at Anfield many times at all.

I will say though Threeps, I think other sides do better against them by playing a style that can frustrate City. We tend to play our way, and that may be enough.
If our key players are on top form tomorrow then it doesn’t matter what City do, we’ll beat them.
it is however a lot to ask for… for your players to all be on top form. It’s usually not realistic.

I know that you lads and probably most Liverpool fans all look to Endo as our best midfield signing this season but it is Mac Allister for me. He took a few games to find his feet, and it’s really fair to note that he was being played as a 6, getting used to that and a new team at the same time…

He has come on leaps and bounds though. What a player!

As for the team though, great performance alright. I just hope Konate is ok.
Tszboslazi got one hell of a workout there. He needs that shar3pness as you could well see but he was really pressing for a goal. So, himself and Salah got a very valuable run out, with Sunday in mind.

As you say Nil, just please no injuries and I think we’ve used this match as great preparation for the City game. It gives me a little glimmer of hope to see so many of our team now back and seemingly ready to go.
Kelleher has been sensational in covering for Alisson.
I really don’t think it’s fair that we keep him anymore though. We’ve got to let this lad go and be a number 1 for another PL side, he’s good enough, and we should get a fortune for him at this stage.
i think we’ve kinda turned him into a bit of a late developer, because he hasn’t been getting as many first team matches as you’d expect from a player his age. Of course, I guess we’ll see what post-Klopp looks like. If Alisson were to ask to leave also, then obviously we’d want to keep this lad and sign backup, right?

it would be a big step from here alright and he might have some patches in there, but I think he’s that good.
I’d obviously still prefer that we had Alisson in there for the City game, as that is going to be a monumental task for him, and looking at the chances that our defence gave away in this win, I think I see a lot that City will bury, so we’ll have to step it up there, but Van Dijk should start there, and his special brand of hearing style defending will be useful.

I threw a 10er on Nunez to score 2 times. Ya, kinda mental but the lad is getting better and better lately. plus when I saw the team we have out there. I was only worried he’d be taken off before he got the 2nd…

itsa still not saying that I’ve won the ebet though, even though I absolutely have.

with Salah and 2 others to come on and push for match fitness, I think we’ve a good chance

seriously, how good has Kelleher been?
I think the defense has got to sharpen up a bit because they are getting too many chances. Kellaher isn’t going to keep them out all night. Good thing we have a huge cushion though, but still… One goal could light the stadium up.
