The funny thing is that I’d usually be the one laughing at the conspiratorial person.
Maybe I am wrong and it’s just a run of bad luck but I’ve seen a lot this season that has formed my position.

Chucky, I respect your opinion and the way you give it. K know what you mean regards MA running into the ball but he didn’t make the player stick his foot into him. He was desperate to win every challenge (which we were incredible at for the entire 2nd half) .
I know that my position on this is going to draw a few negative opinions. I didnt expect quite that from Tugay, but I will destroy him of he ever chooses to meet up and that will be that.
I guess I need to apologise for daring to have a strong opinion on this season.

We dominated City like I’ve never seen. yes we should have had some better finishing but we were robbed.
Every game City are playing with 12 men and they still arent ahead of us.to the football-loving City fans on here, I am not suggesting that your love for your club is tainted but what is happening with your team is.
They are ruining this sport and their owners are corrupting the game by bribing officials, ontop of the financial doping.
They leave the sport or I do, and I can only speak for myself.
Im not going to continue to invest myself in something that isn’t on the level.

I had thought about mthat logic and nearly posted about it before. it’s always good to consider incompetence before conspiracy. That’s just solid reasoning.
I just find it is getting a little insulting now.Is there a single person on these forums who thinks that it wasn’t a penalty? Let’s start there.
Maybe I’m wrong but I’m confident that not one person here will say it wasn’t a penalty.It is yet to be determined of course but I look at this and think if the VAST majority of people watching this think it was, then the ref and 2 VAR officials think it was fine… and this is ontop of what is to me a very suspect season so far.
it isn’t all about the big calls also, why do City seem impervious to yellow cards, their fouling was as cynical as you’ll see. Not violent but tactical, but no cards until the 60th minute or something…
I know people don’t want to see conspiratorial because conspiratorial people usually don’t put thought into things (regardless of what they might say), but this is too obvious IMO.
I don’t expect to change minds but I am genuinely thinking that this is fixed.
We had some horrible decision in past seasons where you might in the heat of the moment go “match fixing” but you wouldn’t really mean it, but I am saying this is the cold light of day and Id love to see a review that goes back and counts up the small decisions.The game is dirty and it’s time for a police investigation.

Whilst I agree that this is a thing (and of course it is), studs into his chest is beyond this discussion.
In a way, it is our fault for allowing things to come back to relying on the crooks to alter the result. We should have buried them long before we gave them the chance to steal it from us.Lets get this season over with so I can move on from this sport.

He’s givewn them an enormous call that can’t be excused besides corruption. The VAR officials looked at it and thought “ok”…
Nobody looks at that and thinks it’s fine.
If that isn’t a penalty then nothing is and it’s obvious that the sport has been corrupted by these fucking oil nations. They own the refs and that’s it. sport ruined.
Let Liverpool win against the grain and then lets wash the shit off our hands.enough.
I either stop following this sport, or this sport kicks the corruption out.

sean, being lucky that they hit the post is not the same as them not giving away a penalty and a straight red. One is luck of the game, the other is the lack of refereeing. They don’t balance out.

we needed to not lose, absolutely. To win? They have the harder run in. They didn’t exactly have to win here because yo know what they can do but I’m more comfortable than them, I just don’t like the cheating. it ruins my ability to care for the game.and it is cheating.

It isnt just a conspiracy. There is something that needs to be dealt with here.
not only was that a penalty earlier, it was a red card bt the VAR officials were involved also. they all looked at this and thought it was fine.
man Citys goal was allowed when Liverpool had a goal with a similar action that was disallowed. Now that one Im less annoyed with because I think its ok (within reason) but that last thing was a penalty and a red card but no, its nothing.
the sport that I love has been ruined and I am done with it when Klopp goes.

totally agree with you Mikus. I think we did everything but win the game. we dominated city but there was a killer instinct missing and if you want to win titles, you have to consider the team that you’re playing against to be prey. In many ways we did this and you could see that the city players weren’t used to being pegged back.
I don’t know why more isn’t being said about the refereeing though. I guess it’s possible that it’s my own thing but can someone tell me how being kicked studs first right into he chest is not a foul?
I’d also like to know how walker didn’t collect about 4 yellow cards.
On the positive side, we showed city that we’re well able for them. we were all over them and they were lucky to lose. but on the other side, they didn’t lose.
city did enough to not lose and the ref and var officials gave them 1 point and took 2 away from us.
its just so obviously match fixing. Im done with this shit after this season.
