I’m also seeing reports the “Big-Dogs” want to re-visit the cash distribution thing again this year, and surprsingly West Ham, Everton and Liecester are also backing it (according to reports). Thats 11/9 and a 14/6 needed for the change.

Anyway, the “Draft” system employed by the US is fundamentally flawed as both the draft picks and the players chosen are basically assets that get swapped traded (transferred!). A perfect example would be the Patriots, arguably the strongest “squad” in the NFL have 3 first round picks this year…

We’ve mentioned it before on here, the new and dare I say improved FFP rules seem to indicate no club can spend more than 100m than what they receive with regards to transfers (slightly easier to monitor I would think, although envelopes under the table will still ikely to happen).

The only issue “admemdment” I hope is in there, is ALL AGENTS fees are also included in this 100m amount too… that should piss them off…. hate agents…

Didn’t realize Rose wasn’t even on the bench (me bad!)… and Toby’s had his bags packed for a while. Can understand your point about WB, he just gives me the ibe-jibbe’s every time I see him and think somebody like Sane would have him for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Certainly agree it was one of our worst performances of the season, we seemed a little flat last week against Stoke too. Extended hangover from the Juve game perhaps? Not looked quite right since then (other than Chelsea!). Hopefully they’ll be up for it next Saturday and a comfortable game Tuesday against B&H!

Congrats to the City lads on here… no real complaints, our boys weren’t at the races at all.

Surprised to Lamela start over Son, Son has been steller at Wembly this year, that puppy likes his home comforts. Think Poncho feel into the mistake of worrying about City too much and played away to our usual strengths to a degree to accommodate them. Disagree about Wierdy Beardy over Trips, WB likes a lunge a bit too much for my liking, reckon we would have ended up with 10 men to be honest.

Personally, would have done Son/Lamela and Davies/Rose subs at HT and gone for it.

As for the new Wembly, give me the old one every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Complete opposite to Willy-Nilly, never been to the new one but lost count the amount of time’s I’ve been to the old one.

Double B makes some valid points and some that I agree with. I don’t feel that old myself, but bloody hell I wish football could go back a decade or two. Now everything seems to have one eye on a balance sheet and the other in “Excuses For Dummies”.

A perfect example would be a certain other website featuring an article claiming YooUtd are planning a 545 million pound double raid for Naymer and Salah…. these absolutely ridiculous articles do get tedious after a while and I feel a little bit stupider after reading them.

And yes, idiot fans in the stands don’t help, pride and passion is one thing, punching seven bells out of each other is just plain retarded.
