Rumors about Toby’s contract are two-fold (I think I’ve mentioned this before, apologies if so) and neither includes the actual salary… that’s apparently fine and dandy…
a) Toby’s Team want a “release” clause of some form included

Goldie… reckon this summer is a little bit different from “traditional” summers as we’re moving into a billion squid stadium and Danny-boys rules are relaxed a little for a “superstar” signing if you know what I mean…
Got to be honest, Kane up top with Bale, Ali and our Wee Mad Viking fella does sound good… very much the “aiming for glory” nonsense us Spuds love… 🙂

Goldie… nobody really knows for sure, but by all accounts from my “man in the know” is simply Bale wants to go to Spuds (don’t ask me why), the fee is not as big as the red-tops think (around the 40 mark!?!?!), and includes “first refusal” (like they didn’t have that anyway!) on Harry and Co….
All to be announced next week after the CL and before the World Cup…. I guess we’ll wait and see!
No idea about the salary… maybe it’s a refreshing case of a footballer who’s putting glory before cash… and let’s face it, win the League with the Spuds would bring a lot more glory than winning it with your more “traditional” big-clubs, wouldn’t it?

Hurrah, you made us look “average” during the semi… you’ve obviously forgotten how “average” you made us look in the League at Wembley (that was the game where your world record signing got subbed off and you new 600k a week winger was playing left-back in the dressing room! 😉 ).
