Chuckster, that’s probable mate, but from an LFC point of view, I would rather it was City than United, and that’s purely down to the deficit we currently dealing with in being 6 pieces of silverware behind the overall record of being the most successful in England.
Besides, it would pain me if there was another decade of domination from the Red Devils.
The way things are now aren’t too bad with gorgeous football being played and admirable talent.
I hope too from a Liverpool point of view, we’ll be challenging and hopefully in the not too distant future we finally put an end to the long wait of League Titles since 1990.

Any team that can end up finishing above this current City side in the PL next season even without the likely significant additions to the squad that City will make this Summer will be worthy Champions.
But I can’t see it happening especially as all of Liverpool , Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea all accumulated less PL points last season than they did in the previous Season.
Mourinho allegedly to be given another £250m to spend in the Summer plus what he makes from sales out and I suspect given that United will be the closest again to City again next season.

999-I can honestly see Liverpool and Spurs be the main challengers to City next season,provided they keep their teams together,plus Arse and Chelsea with new managers and a few additions.I just feel like Jose is past his best,no matter who he buys.

This season is over. City were way the best team.
But now it starts again.
Arsenal may improve. Looks like Unal Emery as head coach, not Arteta.Liverpool will be better. Chelsea – dont know. Spurs similar.
Utd ? Will spend but they will have to have the courage to get rid of a few. Eg Valencia, Darmian, Shaw, Jones, Martial(probably), Young to name but a few.City? Perhaps two signings

Doesn’t look like it Sean. Looks like nobody expected Chelsea to have such a disappointing season defending their title either after looking so good last season. Both Arsenal and Chelsea had quite poor seasons by their usual standards.
