Well Mighty Moos, City supporters have decided to give Utd a belayed Christmas present and let you have this one since we have won it the last three times. I did not check with Pep before I said this though!!!!! A lot have supporters have derided the competition, now want to win it!!!! I must say in all honesty though at the begiining of the season I suggested the competition be dropped because of what I could see as a fixture pile up

Adlab….I cannot work out what people want let alone what the Govt does or does not do. If he kept the schools open….they are blearing it is not right and he must close. Now, he closes them and they are bleating again because he has closed them. The Political football yet again. I can only say, that this Pandemic has shook the world, NOBODY knew anything about it or how to tackle it, experts included and if they gave an opinion there was always a caveat, in other words, they do not know. If you then create a political debate like we have done, this deflects from people getting on with the job in the same way as the stupid camera people in hospitals running up and down wards instead of letting the medics get on with the job. We need to be more disciplined if we are to get any measure of control over this situation

If we had done what we were told at the start it would not have come to this but the stupidity of people, even now, wanting there freedom to do what they want at the expense of everyone else. Why cannot people take responsibility , but no. they want there holidays, etc. How they afford them also beats me. We suffer from a poor society, I know there are exceptions of people doing wonderous things but they are few and far between and the rest take an attitude….well, somebody will do it……but never them. Keep safe everyone and follow the rules lets get this job done

In my mind there are 6 teams that could win the league, we will know in May, in the meantime all 6 are favourites…I do not need a “bookie”. just enjoy what could be a very exciting finale

Ed…you are right about the expectations for new managers. Terry and Rooney are learning there trade and both may well turn out to be good Managers in a couple of seasons. I think Lampard and Arteta are both suffering with same problem

PS,agree with you about Dias, he is a good technical cb and reads game well, he will develop more, I think the current pairing of Dias and Stones is working but in Laporte and Ake they will be pushing them, however, I prefer Ake as my first choice LB

Giblues….I am sure Pep noticed this as well. The most underrated player in the league for what he does. It was no coincidence that after Chelsea were bossing us in the first 15 minutes he gradually took charge of knitting the team and getting them on the front foot. It help to have Sterling KDB Foden and Bernardo in support though

Ed and Sean…..this is just the start of January, no titles are won this month. It is true, City have a good squad and it was good to see them put a 16 yr old on bench to day with another couple of youngsters. City are going through a change at the moment, half way house I think between the usual all attack to a more conservative approach based on the fact we have 4 capable defenders now at CB. Ihope we will be up there fighting for the title but a long way to go yet and as with any team the dreaded injuries and Covidcan change things overnight. The plus side, to me, is we have a very competitive league this season

Enjoyed that performance, since Chelsea did not do much wrong and thought they played well but City were just better. Gundogan gave a master class in midfield my MotM

Let us not forget, if true, there are plenty of other cases happening every day but as footballers they will be highlighted and deserve everything they get. Themedia should also be careful, why do they have to keep filming in hospitals instead of letting the staff get on with there work and not increase the risk of them spreading the virus, plenty of other suspects. I would not like a witch hunt but I do want people to act responsibly

Steve…they are more concerned about there holidays, football and when the pubs are open again. They just do not understand how serious the situation is. Full lockdown is the only way because people will not listen to reason. Life is short and it has now become shorter. It can get better when people get sensible

I am still old school, taking part is more important than the game itself whatever the sport but we are now in a different era where staying on your feet is seen to be wrong, hence the diva diving era. That did not originate in the UK but as the game became more global.

Nike…I love my club as much as anybody but I go to watch a game of football from 11 players. I am an oddity now I clap when an opposition player does something well, maybe clap a bit harder when a a City player does something good but enjoy the game of football. It is different when you see 22 players not 11….try it!!!!

Nine…true. but many companies and small business will fold as well. Sad but, in time things will emerge again, just hard on the affected people now. I remember when I first started my business the Banks hounded me, I switched Banks on a regular basis.It also took me a long time to get my home back which was there security….even after. I got myself in the black!!! Banks should but will not help
