Pagan, generally the decisions tend to even themselves out, possibly over the season or over a course of time as being a regular football fan.
I wouldn’t minded if it was a Refereeing error, but I thought the whole idea of tech was to improve accuracy.

It seems to have a different outlook though this season, so far. That was criminal on Mane. He was level. The frozen picture makes him look onside the other way of his stance. Somebody in that VAR room needs a strong coffee!

Nil, there were loads of these ridiculous offside reviews last season, my stance was get rid of VAR for anything other than howlers, with offside decisions if we have to have VAR then you have to ask “in real time should the assistant be expected to get that right” and with all these stupid ones the answer is no.
As to your improve accuracy comment, I think they judge the system to be mm accurate and therefore implement it as such.

Its because VAR is not being used properly. The ref should decide flr better or worse and use VAR if obvious doubt NOT to check if a player is 2mm offside.

It really is Sean. Utd have been crap this season but we’ve had some very strange decisions against us too. Notably the Martial incident and the Lindelof handball against Palace. As you say, so much inconsistency right now.

I don’t mind the offside as it’s usually black or white but that wasn’t today. It’s done but as the Ed says , far to many easy decisions going wrong

I highly rate Michael Oliver. I think he’s the best ref in the league adlab
