The Premier League is finally back with us after a hard 2 week slog, ha! π
Predicting the Unpredictable!
Everton 2 Liverpool 4
Chelsea 3 Southampton 1
Manchester City 2 Arsenal 1
Newcastle United 2 Manchester United 3
Sheffield United 3 Fulham 0
Crystal Palace 2 Brighton Hove Albion 2
Tottenham Hotspur 3 West Ham United 1
Leicester City 3 Aston Villa 3
West Bromwich Albion 3 Burnley 2
Leeds United 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers 411am deadline for Fantasy Football, so get those team selection up to date.
Hopefully from our point of view we can wipe away the gloom and come away with all 3 points. Good to have the Footy back above all

16th October 2020 at 9:48 am #168443Difficult game to call tomorrow. Carlo never attacks us with everyon or Napoli. Heβs akways very cagey but if I was Everton, I would be going for it
Again Adrian and our high line are a worry but if we plsy like we can then we will win.
Very tough game
Huge pressure on utd and I expect them to bounce like they did againest BRighton as another defeat and ole is under severe pressure
Wins for spurs, Chelsea and city
Arsenal will go to city and park the bus but I think city will break them down

17th October 2020 at 12:38 pm #168459Everton v Liverpool
Just switched on. For me no fans, no atmosphere and as a neutral, little interest. Ok if you support either of course.
I cant believe how much interest I have lost and its time to ditch the knee too.
1-0 shocking defending.
I see its that useless referee in charge. How many mistakes will he make today._____________________________

17th October 2020 at 12:38 pm #168460AnonymousPickford should be off for that regardless of it being offside.. thats a horror tackle!

17th October 2020 at 12:43 pm #168462AnonymousAnd he’s had to go off now… How long will he be out now with that? absolutely disgraceful. So you can violently assault someone , as long as they are offside.

17th October 2020 at 12:43 pm #168463Might have been a yellow not a red. Off goes VVD..

17th October 2020 at 12:50 pm #168464AnonymousHe wrapped the other leg in, that’s a straight red all day. If someone did that to a certain light blue team you’d be banging on about an anti-City agenda.

17th October 2020 at 1:08 pm #168469Not watching the footy, watching the IPL instead, I take it the the βtackleβ on VVD was in the same play as the offside, in which case the offside would have been the first offence therefore there can then be no foul as the play stops at the offside…..Pagan

17th October 2020 at 1:16 pm #168470AnonymousSometimes I wonder what possess any player to make a tackle like that. A brave keeper goes head in first to try and grab the ball

17th October 2020 at 1:25 pm #168471AnonymousYa Pagan, I understand that but given that it was of such a potentially serious nature, he should still go. Not interested in what rule the ref is hiding behind, it was a horror tackle. He shouldnt be on the pitch for making a potentially season ending tackle. If you turned to someone and punched them in the face, you’d be on your way down the tunnel no matter if it was still in play.
What do you lads think though, forget the offside aspect, do you think in play thats only a yellow? Just interested in getting other opinions. Adlab, I know yours.

17th October 2020 at 1:30 pm #168472Anonymousthe ref at half time “the offside is irrelevant as players are still responsible for their actions” , he then went on to say that he thinks that was Serious Foulplay and should have been sent off. Cheers.

17th October 2020 at 1:36 pm #168473Not sure the offside ruled the Pickford tackle out? Offside ending play is not what BT are saying inc the Referee analyser? It was a bad tackle and could have caused serious injury. Pickford looks like he was a lucky boy.

17th October 2020 at 1:36 pm #168474Mak, you canβt have serious foul play when the play has stopped (at the point of the first offence) as a ref he really should stick to the laws of the game and not his opinion. Iβll probably have a watch on MOTD in the morning, the only thing that could then happen is the ref deems it violent conduct in which case the ball doesnβt need to be in play….Pagan
