Lucky that’s why I said in terms of value Grealish is the obvious choice, a player with that kind of skill is invaluable, on the other hand we don’t really need Declan Rice though I do like him as well.

Blaze the value part is relative to the needs of the club. For example rice is worth nowhere near 80m to us because we have kante, but if real or psg bought kante for 100m next summer for example then 80m rice would be much better value than 80m grealish, as it stands neither player is value for us at 80m and if anyone pays 80m for either I would be astonished

Sure 80m is only a figurative number which I randomly saw in an article all I’m saying and probably most fans agree is that Grealish has far more value than any other British player and would be a far more exciting acquisition to all clubs than any other player whether his needed or not aside the likes of Messi.

He is a standout player blaze and that flair always comes at a premium, not just because it is marketable but as we have seen with jack he can be decisive where it matters on the pitch.
Ultimately he is still at villa because he is worth more to them than any other club is willing/able to afford and to be honest I think its better for the league that he stays there. Villa can sign barkley permanently in summer and build a team around Jack capable of pushing for europe, That would be better I think.

This is it and remember the days when English players came with a premium? That will maybe be even more the case if a foreigners rule comes in cause of Brexit. Never mind the fact that he’s carrying an entire team. Ok thats over-stating things but he’s the main man. He’s Villa’s Gerrard. I really think this will be his last season with them too. utd are probably the best team equipped to make a massive purchase, given how they make money hand over fist, with I think a fairly low ratio of salary to revenue for a PL side. with gate receipts being gone, other revenue streams are what gives them potential… even if they are posting losses etc.
One thing is for certain, Liverpool cant go splashing 150m this summer… not that we need Grealish but you know what i mean. Good Pogba replacement though perhaps.

LD, it wouldnt be better for Grealish’s career though I think. He’s too good not to be challenging for trophies but of course ultimately he’ll decide what his priorities are and maybe he’d prefer to help Villa grow as a club.

Mak thats true but only if playing regularly for a CL club is actually a possibility. He wouldn’t start for City, pool or chelsea, spurs couldn’t afford him and I doubt he is high on utds list of targets either.
He might not have a choice mate
