Adlab, the problem and argument is though that the player is stood slap-bang in front of goal. So in the minds of some, he is causing an obstruction and therefore interfering with play.

I think the only thing left, ith regards to the additional revenue streams, is the possibiity that clubs basically own their own rights and sell to their own games… not a 100% sure how the “model” works in the US with baseball, but I know all the clubs get “x” amount from the biggies (FOX, ESPN etc…) but then they also sell the “right” to local stations on their own regions…
Not sure how that would equate regionally in the UK, although I suspect there would be “x” amount coming in from the communual pool and then clubs would probably sit up their own “on-line” pressence or something like that…
I wouldn’t have thought the “club world cup” would be worth the amount we would have to be talking about for the Glazers, for example, to hold out for 10b.
Or that “Euro” league is going to get brushed off again…

Currently the PL only sell 200 of the 380 games to UK when UK is its biggest market per capita. On top of that, previously vital broadcast companies are now non essential middle men taking a cut that don’t need sharing.
They can double pretty much the games sold to watch live and take out the middlemen at same time?

Banjo, the Premier league splits revenue much more equitably than most other leagues. Real and Barca benefit from much less even terms in Spain for example.
I am not talking about clubs owning the broadcast rights to their own games, I am talking about the PL as a collective selling the games direct like the EFL are already doing.
Like you, I believe it is imperative that the revenue is split as even as possible.

Never really got out of second gear and coasted with those 3 goals. I like games like these, not to have to over exert ourselves.
3 points and 10 points from 4 matches. I am happy because it may have been a lot worse considering our midfield was swiped. Salah happy and committed.

Yeah very good start front pool nil, despite all the melodrama in media and amongst section of support.
I pointed out last week it was 14 games unbeaten in prem stretching back to last season, now 15.
You still have a very tasty squad, its just pool fans are hyper sensitive to the deficiencies,when in reality, in my opinion, the deficiencies are far outweighed by your strengths.
