Alfie, agree. His movement did look good when he came on as a sub. Yeah, Rashford can switch to the left. What I’m saying is if you get a partnership established with regular starters, you may then get a rhythm going and hopefully for you lot, consistency.

Its possible Pep could go up to the 10th game and win the first 10 fetching him 30 points.

He’s not in denial and adapts his cloth accordingly. West Ham at Upton Park will be interesting in 2 weeks. Quite surprisingly it’s not on TV, but it’s great for the match goer on a Sat afternoon.⚽️🕹

We haven’t seen enough of Hojlund yet to make any comments either way.
I hope they play Rashford down the middle as he’s far better on the left.

Can’t get over how inept the VAR decision was to allow the Ake goal. Don’t think it would have affected the final result but it might have.

Generally we get a bad deal from VAR but not this one. Nobody really understands the offside rule. Certainly not me.

Adlab, in human nature and in the zone of a fan, we’ll ooh and ahh and everything else, but I thought the VAR decisions were correct this weekend from the matches I saw and effectively ‘DVLA’ style.

The offside I think appears stricter and sort of more in favour of a defender than the attacker. I thought both were level re the Man United goal. Looks like a hard study and ‘role play’ on the training grounds for Managers and Coaching Staff to try and get round this another way by training players to time their runs.

Lol, if only the game was that simple 🙂

            Cheers

Hojlund will score goals if allowed and he has just natural attributes of a Striker. He’ll be a joy to watch fanatically; just don’t find the net against us mate 🙂
