Liverpool have looked a different side ever since theyβve been the club chasing again. Itβs as though we werenβt suited to holding on to a slim points lead – think of the away games vs Man Utd & Everton. We didnβt know whether to stick or twist. Certainly no problem with what the plan is now. Weβre just going for it.

Cheers Nine. it wasn’t a classic Chelsea performance in some ways but you lads were very solid, hard to break down. You had your moments in attack, with some very very close moments. Our defence (and the post) just about did the job.
I think Liverpool deserved it but it was in no means one sided. Salah’s goal was stunning. Some great performances from Firmino, Mane, Salah, Hendo and Fabinho.

Chelsea demons finally banished. No longer a problem.
I have to say though we had yet another stroke of luck in Hazard hitting the post, but cannot take anything away from Salah’s moment of brilliance.
That has been coming for a while.
Our toughest fixture now gone. Newcastle Away only seems our remaining hard game and final away game too.
Now it’s a hope of City slipping up.

United need at least Herrera back from injury. Ideally Matic too. Sanchez is close to recovery, but Solksjaer needs a strong 11 that can turn over City.

Sean, how good is Fabinho at reading and timing of his breaking down of the play? He’s just constantly dispossessing people now. The dynamics of our midfield are changing and it’s because of him.
We had to win today to stay in the title race. Mikus, that’s exactly it, we’re better at chasing. Since we’ve not won the title before (PL/this team etc), we’re just not ready to be the leaders in a race. Obviously we’ve got to try and break out in front at the right time. each big win can only give the lads more confidence.

Sean, I get that mate.
We’ve got out of that ‘rut’ though in not beating them at Anfield since 2012 (in all comps), and people on TV have brought up 2014 again and again, so from that point of view, I’m glad this time round, we’ve come good.
Mak, one of Klopp’s best signing is Fabz.
Ox and Gomez played today in under 23s. I hope they’ve both come good. They are very close re-joining the first 11.
