So, Pool vs Chelsea is the biggie, no doubt all of us except the puppy are cheering for Pool, who should have enough with home field advantage and a fired up Lino Salah.
A Kane-less take on the Tigers, should have enough, YooUtd vs the Spam-boys could be tasty, Spammers are usuaully up for those games but now safe in mid-table obscurity you’d fancy YooUtd for those points.. City away to Palace could be tricky for City, Palace are showing a bit of form, but like the Spam-boys, don’t have a lot to play for these days, before finishing up with the Goonies and a tricky away day to Watforjd, more dropped points for the Goon-Show? Nobody would be that surprised if that happens…

In 7 years at home so that’s a worryThink watford will beat arsenal
City will beat palace easily enough. The usual early goal will set them off
Palace are a decent side but poor st home. They are much better away from home

Warnock charged for expressing his disgust on the officiating. So a journalist will naturally fish for what a person really thinks and some people’s emotions understandably run high.
Is it better then to not speak? Or better still just treat interviews as a box-ticking exercise and throw out platitudes.

I don’t really see that much of a comparison on this Liverpool-Chelsea fixture to 5 years other than the obvious.
To be fair, the circumstances were a little more different as there were 3 games to play and Chelsea at the time was one of the teams. Plus, Liverpool were the ones in the driving seat where as mathematically, Man City are owed a game.
There was more of an incentive for Jose to thwart us due to not accommodating Chelsea in rescheduling a that particular fixture (I’m led to believe).
Steven Gerrard slipping was the turning point of that game being a goal down and having to then chase the game.
The team (11) are almost different to that one of 2014. It will be tough make no mistake, but I’m sure we’ll give it everything we’ve got.

Mav, I get peoples condemnation and they are right to condemn.
But let’s try and keep it in perspective this was circa 6 people involved worse for too many beers in a Bar in Prague. Chelsea have acted immediately (see the Club statement) 3 were denied acces into the ground , three didn’t even go to the ground? And the Club are looking to ban them all.
All Clubs have their fair share of idiots and suggesting this reflects the Chelsea fan base is wholly wrong.
I’m not going to get involved in deleting or moving anything that’s up to the Ed but as he has said before and I’m paraphrasing let’s remember all Clubs have their fair share of idiots and let’s try and stick to talking about the football on here. Cheers 999

It’s not great that we haven’t managed a win from the last 7 at home against Chelsea but it’s meaning is limited, on the day. All these kinds of runs have to come to an end some time, obviously for us, it has to this time. Chelsea gave us one hell of a game at Stamford bridge. A performance that convinced me that they’d be challenging for the title.
It wasn’t to be for them this season and honestly, anything but a win and it is not going to be for us this also.
Nothing has changed from what I’ve said in previous matches. We’ve got to win. No other result will do, so let’s win. City have had a run of easy games but they are ending soon enough. We’ve just got to stay in it.
I’m not going to make a prediction for this game as of yet.

Mav, these kit deals go up every time they come up for negotiation Liverpool were undervalued last time round by NB imo and are a much bigger fish now.
Chelsea agreed a £900m deal with Nike over a 15 year period in 2016 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-37652612.
You wonder at the benefit in agreeing such long term deals as £60m a season for Chelsea will probably be small beer in 10 years time or much less.
