Actually, I wonder if it would get around the rules, contract says he’s owed 950,000 a week, but they pay him over 20 years or something (he would, in fact, get 2,5m for the first year, then 5m the second year, then 7,5m a year for the third year, then 10 mill a year for the next 17 years or something) which comes to about 200million when you add it all up…
Or maybe not, made sense in my head… 🙂

Off course, leaves us with Forth, Walker_P & Dier fighting for the RB spot, can’t make me mind up, along with Vicky and Young Skippy for Midfield Roles… and Parrot sniffing around as direct back-up for Kane… along with possibly Fernando too…
I’d be pretty happy with that, should very safely finish at least 3rd I reckon!

Surely, if top class players like Eriksen want to actually win anything in their careers,cant stay much for longer @ Spurs? I know Hugo won the WC with France,but why would top players like Eriksen stay and fight to finish 3rd or 4th? Surely they have ambitions to actually win something in their careers???

Goose, the thing is though good as some of those players are, no one has really wanted them (at least not a first choice option) ….maybe the big clubs they would need to go to dont see these players as a step up on what they have or what else they could get?
