It’s also the last 16 stage of the women’s CL, with both Man City’s and Chelsea’s Ladies in action tonight. Man City cruised through their first leg game against Fiorentina with a 3-0 home win. Chelsea Ladies were up against Atletico Madrid with Chelsea winning 2-0 at home, the result doesn’t tell the whole story with The Blues going down to 10 players in the 12th minute, and the Chelsea keeper saving 2 penalties…..Pagan

PSG v Barca tonight difficult to see Barca turning this one around. No Neymar for PSG but I suspect the best Barca can hope for is a better performance and result but not sufficient enough to turn this tie around.
In the Liverpool v Leipzig game it’s difficult to see Liverpool not going through in this tie given their 2-0 lead but if Leipzig were to score first it could make things a bit nervy for Liverpool.
Ultimately it would be a major suprise if both PSG and Liverpool didn’t join Porto and Dortmund in the Qtr Final draw.

Sean…you just never know, mate! In 2005 we lost 14 games in the Premier League and somehow won the Champions League, and no-one would argue we’ve got a better team now than we had then. I agree it’s hugely unlikely, but get Porto in the next round, have City play Bayern and Chelsea play PSG, and you just never know. Stranger things have happened…like in 2005!

I didn’t watch us for the first time in ages as of late, I’ve lost interest. I was being updated through WhatsApp. By the sounds of it, we did good. Haven’t got a game though till Monday night so still a long way to go.

Steveo, I was persuaded to watch the game as I no longer bother, people might think that wrong as a lifelong Spurs supporter, but I’m not alone. Whatever Jose says this is down to him, as soon as the teams were announced I starting getting messages from lads I’ve stood and sat next to at WHL for 59 years. “Why has he chosen to leave out his best players and expect a midfield duo of Winks and Disco to provide the chances for the forwards” was the message,” we are going out”, and lots of” WTF” every person connected to Spurs could see it apart from one ,our manager.
If going out of the Europa, finishing mid table and getting annihilated by City at Wembley is the price of getting Jose out of our club , it will be well worth it._____________________________

Shiney, it was still a decent Spurs team though who should have been good enough to come through the tie.
I very much doubt Mourinho will be Manager at the start of next season but does that solve all the problems at Spurs they weren’t performing under Poch for a long period at the end of his reign.
I think Spurs problems probably go a lot deeper than just Mourinho.
