Oh Jeezus lads do you not get what ? means. I was fishing for a reply from Chuckster who is continually saying we’ve got it on the bag. Believe me I don’t like saying this as the favourites tag sits uneasy with me but I actually think all things considered it’s fair to say we are slight favourites, but only very slight. These 1 off games are a pretty even bet when it comes to a final especially considering the threats on both sides & it could come down to a refs call or a simple slip (don’t we scousers know about that) so I wouldn’t be putting any money on it either way.
You’ve wrecked my fun as I was hoping Chuckster would read the post & give me a gob full. All in good fun lads, just looking for a bit of a laugh._____________________________

Grandfather actually chuckster, used to get me up to watch FA cup when it was a big thing & when Craig Johnno scored in a winning final me ol pop said “ he’s an Aussie mate”. I’ve followed that red team since.

The problem for both sets of these teams is that they simply don’t have any recent honours already behind them. The desperation and preciousness therefore increases.
If you’ve won half-a-dozen trophies at the very least over a decade, the defeat is easier to take.
Definitely from our POV, we’re been on the wrong end of 3 finals from Cup Competitions, so lots of pain.

It’s very quiet on here, for a thread covering Europe’s top cup competition that takes place in 2 days time.
I guess there are only so many things that can be said and we’ve had a long time (too long) t4o wait from the end of the PL to now. Well, the waits almost over and come Sunday we’ll have a new European champion.
Last seasons final was very hard to take. 2 in a row would be just awful. Spurs, you can have the CL next season, I promise 😉

You’re right, Mak, it is quiet, but there is not much more that needs to be said. We really need to win this, and dare I say it, after the season we’ve had we deserve to end the season with a trophy.. But, make no mistake, Spurs on their day can beat anyone. However, man for man we are better, we were 25 odd points ahead of them last season, we’ve got more CL experience than them, their star striker will not be match fit if he plays, but, but, but…
I’m bricking it!!
PS It may be quiet on here, but it’s quiet even on the Liverpool TT page. I just think everyone is very nervous!!
