Madrid will go through, it’s already been decided. UEFA cant have the risk of City winning the competition it would compromise the ban for next year. Plus UEFA’s hated of city means a VAR assisted 3-0 win to madrid.
My slightly more serious prediction is that it wont be easy for city. The city defence can be got at and Madrid are experienced at winning at any cost. Expect some dark arts on show from Senor Ramos and co.

Sean I hear what your saying but it’s a cup game and Madrid are pretty good at winning these games no matter how. They are not the team they were granted, but nor is Bayern and look how they turned it on last night. Not saying Madrid will definitely win, just that I don@t think it would be a shock if they did.

It would be a strange atmosphere with the City fans obviously celebrating the Cup but booing the organisation! Plus maybe not being there next season to defend it.

I think the outcome of the City/Real tie is a very difficult one to predict. I think Liverpool will probably overcome Atletico, Chelsea are obviously out and I can’t see Spurs coming through v Leipzig but they’ve got a much better chance than Chelsea. 🙂

Threeps! It could have been me with that post. UEFA will be there. Rick Parry (UEFA investegatory panel for FFP, , Ed Woodward, David Gill et al (no conflicts of interest there then). All with Madrid scarfs.
I know you will all have a go at me but we will have to beat Real, VAR and the ref(with suitable free kicks, cards etc) if we are going to win. Wont be watching as out for missus birthday today. Probably a good thing.

3 first legs played by English teams, and 3 defeats…and you’d say City probably have the hardest tie of the 4 games. I really hope City turn Madrid over. Of all the players currently still playing Sergio Ramos is the one I enjoy seeing suffer more than anyone, so to see him losing at home would be great.

Brian, with all due respect, the Ramos thing and this UEFA thing are completely different. I understand that people don’t agree regards Ramos and that’s fine but as for this City conspiracy thing, there is a difference between raising an objection and perpetuating a conspiracy.
City have stumbled this season and the general theme is that it’s not your fault, that the refs are out to get you. That the refs are awarding “LiVARpool” decisions because they are out to get City. I’m really REALLY tired of it. This “tainted title” shit is more of it. Why can’t people be bloody gracious and accept that they have been bested. Accept that they struggled because their manager thought he could move his best DM into the CB role, with no other quality cover.
Now it’s all UEFA are out to get City but the reality of the situation is they cheated and they have been caught. The blame game is getting really old now.
And Adlab, be thankful that I’m not a moderator.
