We have done really well in Europe since klopp came.
I thought we were excellent tonight. We created so many chances againest a team that gives nothing away but we didn’t take them
Huge mistake cost us abd that’s exactly what athletico played for and they got the result.
I’ve no complaints. We gave it everything but that’s football mate.

Im gutted , partially because I wanted us to meet Atalanta. i told you its my ex’s team. I know she’s a fanatical supporter of theirs and I’d have loved to see us play them, maybe have some banter but it’s not happened because we were poor.
Im really happy with what the majority of the team were doing tonight but the front 3 are too comfortable and if I were in charge, i think Id shock a few people.

Hell of a game I said after the first game that Atletico were no Barca and I don’t think any other team could have withstood what Liverpool threw at them Atletico have made an art of defending. Had Oblak been in goal for Liverpool tonight it could have been a different story.

We’ve generally won games this season by killing the ball and dominating games. And by the law of averages over a game, we tend to win by the odd goal. But we’ve generally lacked a natural creativity, and there is food for thought for Klopp there. As for the keeper, he was obviously a weak link tonight. And I’m still a bit narked off with the last minute way we scrambled to find a second choice keeper last summer.

mane, I have no problem with… tonight i did but in general no, so i wont talk about him,. he;s fucking amazing and we need to try to keep him.
firmino : A favourite player of mine back when half the fans wanted him sold. I had countless arguments about him and im glad that he’s proven me right. However, regardless of what he does for us in an off the ball sense (which i totally understand and was one of the first that you all know of, tp spot.. feel free to delve back into TT history, you’ll see I was right on the money in this situation.. wrong in plenty of others)… anyway firmino has been shit this season. the thing we’re crediting him with, he’s not as good at it but people have a delayed gratification thing going. Firmino is not as good off the ball as he used to be. he’s ,definitely lazier now and its costing us. firmino must be put under competition for his place.… sign a player
Salah : carra was dead right when he said that salah is under appreciated.. people were wanking themselves to hendo and not appreciating what salah is so good at and that is … KNOWING WHERE TO BE. there isnt a player in the world who better knows where to be than salah.. name anyone and I’ll call you an idiot. .. but salah was juts not there today. we need him in the big games and he was the worst player on the park. I will mgive you lads a look into my own perspective here and I think salah is already off. he’s gone in the summer.
I hope we keep salah because as much as people complain about him, he’s the most beautiful flawed gem. I am saying these good things about him but he let us down tonight. Im so dis pointed in him.
Wijnaldum was the best player on the park tonight. Im so proud of that man. Most under-appreciated man of the year. I am horribly disapointed now though. we wont get any sympathy from ,other fans but the fact is, our seawson is over. I mean that we’ve nothing left to fight for. I’ve long celebrated the PL.. honestly … I mwon’t give much of a shit about the PL after this. we needed it, we got it.. I just feel let down by this delayed nonsense.. I really care about the CL and Im fucking gutted to be out fo it now.

Spot on Sean no Club is going to have a great Number 2. Chelsea came closest with Courtois and Cech but as was proven the real top quality Keepers aren’t going to sit on the bench and be happy to just play in the domestic Cups.
Despite the disappointment of tonight and being drawn against Atletico was always going to be difficult Liverpool have still had a great season and if you had asked almost any Liverpool fan what they wanted from this season it would have been the PL title.

Sean, we’ve been pretty guilty of not taking our chances this season though haven’t we? Still think we lack a natural creativity there, particularly from the midfield.
As for Adrian, yes he’s done ok at times. But I do think a ‘problem’ is this absolute necessity for keepers to now play the ball to feet. Adrian could have booted it, but he obviously kept it on the deck. If the pressure to do so comes from Klopp, then I’ll lay off Adrian somewhat. But if not, could we not have found better? Yes City also have gaffe prone Bravo, but do we also have to have our own gaffe prone keeper?
