Sean, Im really happy with the look of the team, except for Adrian. He was indecisive there in the last PL match and it was unnerving. it’s not good for the defence, who must not think twice about anything. They must be sure of their keeper, if he’s coming or staying.
Adrian is definitely a very good keeper when on form. He’s played brilliantly for us, I’m not knocking him, I just worry about the absence of Alisson. So, hopefully a big big game from Adrian. Hope the occasion doesn’t get to him but in a way, I am also hoping he creates a night to remember for himself, not one to forget.
For his time in goal early this season, he’s definitely earned an occasion such as this. As for the resdt. Ya delighted to see Hendo back (take note Threeps, HH :PPPP hahah). Robbo is just incredibly important too, not that Milner does a bad job but.. you know why.
Anyway Sean, I can also see us really struggling to get 3 but I’ve got a little faith now. we’ll have to wait and see I guess.

I’ll say that Mane has been absolutely phenomenal in his off the ball;/defensive play but on the ball he’s yet to click. Salah needs to step it up but im confident that he will.

Milner is one of my favourite players. he’s my Hendo TBH. everyone Loves hendo and doesnt understand why people think he’s not amazing.. I remember so many arguments years ago about the aging milner who will be slowing.. here we are…

I will say one thing, we need to buy Werner and put the front 3 under pressure. I dont think any are giving enough. They are great and I dont want to mark them in any way but they can be better. they need the competition.
Firmino has looked leggy for a huge percentage of the season. He’s just scored his first anfield goal. I called it actually. I forgot to bet on it ffs.

I had a feeling in my gut that not having alisson would be telling. what was he even thinking? what will he be thinking the next time the ball comes towards out goal? that would scramble your brains.
