Well Foxy, prepared to be shocked as Pep is going for Grealish. His game would be brilliant in a possession based team like City. Can keep the ball really well and is so creative. Yes £100m is a bit of a bonkers fee, but they will recoup a lot of this by selling a first team player (like Sterling or B Silva) and some fringe players (like Mendy or Zinchenko). I don’t think that’s too much of a stretch.

In my opinion they should get rid of 11 a side footy in its current format at the Olympics. Either that, or just make it a complete youth team, not this 3 x over aged players. It’s just not the height of a footballers career to play at the Olympics. Same goes for Golf and tennis and other well paid sports.

If they have these shortened forms of the game like Rugby 7’s and Basketball 3’s, they should do 5 a side footy! Load of lads from your local Powerleague with names like Inter Yemam playing 🙂

Liverpool fans, expect Harvey Elliot to have a breakthrough season this year. The lad is pure class. Played on loan for us last season and plays with the maturity of a 25 year old despite being only 17/18. Was often our best player and makes things happen. Yes its “only Blackburn” but not seen any other players so young take to that league so easily. I would have thought any injury to Salah or Mane, he will be one of the players to benefit.

Nine, you say “As I said yesterday I don’t think even City would pay £160m for Kane”. The “even” Man City bit on this I think is a little unfair. City have no history of paying this kind of money for anyone. In fact, the most they have ever spent on a player is £68m and that was on Kevin De Bruyne (the leagues best player). Man United have 4 of the top 5 most expensive transfers in the league ever in Pogba (£89m), Maguire (£80m), Lukaku (£75m) and Sancho (£73m). Liverpool have Van Dijk in that list (£75m). City spend a lot, yes, but doesn’t tend to be massive money on single players, its just most of the players they buy cost between £25m and £60m!

What are you on about Chucky? why would he try to stay on his feel when he has been clipped? he cant score when he has been clipped because he is off balance. Also, stay on your feel, or try to and you don’t get a pen. you don’t get rewarded for attempting to do “the right thing” so why would you?

Well what a day that was. The atmosphere in Wembley was electric. One of the best things I have ever experienced live. Not got a ticket for Sunday, but I’ll take seeing England beat the Germans and winning a semi final! With regards to the booing of the national anthems, its been happening for years. Its fans trying to get into the opposition’s heads. Long may it continue!

Well I’m back off down to London tomorrow and will be at the Semi Final on Wednesday. Lets all get behind Southgate instead of whinging and whining at every decision he makes. He’s proving he knows what he is doing and he sure as hell knows more than the likes of us! It’s coming home!

Well what an experience that was! Was sat behind the goal near the front and the atmosphere was incredible. Can’t wait to go back to Wembley next week for the Semi-Final, just got to hope we beat the Ukraine first! It’s coming home!

No quite sure what Hoddle did to make you think he is better than Southgate? Handled the picking of the squad awfully by getting them in a room one at a time like an early X Factor audition to tell them they are in or out the France 98 squad. Nearly didn’t pick Owen in that squad and said he wasn’t a natural goalscorer. Didn’t pick Beckham at the start of the tournament. Went out in the last 16. Also a massive weirdo in getting Eileen Drewery in as a “faith healer”. Ray Parlour asked her for a short back and sides as a joke and was never picked for England again. Also his views on the disabled were abhorrent. Hoddle isn’t fit to lace Southgate’s boots as an international manager.
