Well Foxy, prepared to be shocked as Pep is going for Grealish. His game would be brilliant in a possession based team like City. Can keep the ball really well and is so creative. Yes £100m is a bit of a bonkers fee, but they will recoup a lot of this by selling a first team player (like Sterling or B Silva) and some fringe players (like Mendy or Zinchenko). I don’t think that’s too much of a stretch.

In my opinion they should get rid of 11 a side footy in its current format at the Olympics. Either that, or just make it a complete youth team, not this 3 x over aged players. It’s just not the height of a footballers career to play at the Olympics. Same goes for Golf and tennis and other well paid sports.

Liverpool fans, expect Harvey Elliot to have a breakthrough season this year. The lad is pure class. Played on loan for us last season and plays with the maturity of a 25 year old despite being only 17/18. Was often our best player and makes things happen. Yes its “only Blackburn” but not seen any other players so young take to that league so easily. I would have thought any injury to Salah or Mane, he will be one of the players to benefit.

Nine, you say “As I said yesterday I don’t think even City would pay £160m for Kane”. The “even” Man City bit on this I think is a little unfair. City have no history of paying this kind of money for anyone. In fact, the most they have ever spent on a player is £68m and that was on Kevin De Bruyne (the leagues best player). Man United have 4 of the top 5 most expensive transfers in the league ever in Pogba (£89m), Maguire (£80m), Lukaku (£75m) and Sancho (£73m). Liverpool have Van Dijk in that list (£75m). City spend a lot, yes, but doesn’t tend to be massive money on single players, its just most of the players they buy cost between £25m and £60m!

What are you on about Chucky? why would he try to stay on his feel when he has been clipped? he cant score when he has been clipped because he is off balance. Also, stay on your feel, or try to and you don’t get a pen. you don’t get rewarded for attempting to do “the right thing” so why would you?
