Amazing how little is said of Kane’s Rivaldo impression! Just a blatant attempt to con the ref
No one will talk about this dive because it's Harry Kane and he's an English player. pic.twitter.com/wm7bizwWDg

Nil, I’m not quite sure who you were calling the C word but I’m a bit tired now of having to still come in and edit the site on a morning because of another foul rant. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, tone down your language please. If you continue to fail to do so, I’ll have no choice but to ban you.

Completely agree Threeps. The whole system is clearly not a solution in its current form

Chucky, you don’t think the Origi one was a foul do you mean? Yeah I tend to agree but I did think it was initially.
Agree with you regarding the state of the game but it’s been like that for years. There are just more camera angles than there used to be.

I think the problem with the Origi incident is that it was probably a foul but not clear enough to pass the “clear and obvious error” condition to have it overturned. Obviously, his reaction didn’t help either.

That wasn't a foul…
Origi wasn't even trying. That fool is holding the wrong leg ? pic.twitter.com/nDQbyk3nNi— α΄Κα΄α΄Κ α΄Κα΄ Ι’Κα΄α΄α΄ ? (@xartur_kgz) October 20, 2019

Turns out Origi went down holding the wrong bloody leg after the LindelΓΆf incident. First couple of times I saw that, I thought we’d got away with one but I’m convinced there was nowhere near enough contact to send him down like he did.

Absolutely Nine! Although, I won’t be watching it, sadly. There’s a 6 pointer relegation battle on the other channel at the same time which will be on my box ?

Give it a rest Nil. It’s the biggest game in English football. One was in incredible form, the other was on a downward spiral. People write about big games. Hardly a case of anyone “carrying on” because we got a point at home.
Just seen the Spurs highlights. Feel for Watford there. How they didn’t come away with all 3 points is a mystery. Alli clear hand ball and Watford had a stonewall pen turned down. Poch needs to start picking up some results soon.

Amazing how loyal the match going Utd fans are with the Mourinho chants. It’s the very reason they won’t give up on Ole while ever he’s in the job, despite what the likes of myself think.

Threeps, will have to agree to disagree there. When he says
“When you think about Manchester United against Liverpool, you think both teams are trying like this. But it is not. We try.”
To say Liverpool were trying to win the game and Utd weren’t is just not fair or respectful to an opponent IMO. Our strength is in absorbing attacks and hitting teams on the counter. He’s suggesting we weren’t interested in winning which is ridiculous. We might be shit but there was real intensity from Utd yesterday and Utd weren’t holding on until the last 10-20mins when Liverpool were chasing the game.

Think Klopp was a bit disrespectful in his comments about Utd’s set up. Liverpool were very cautious in their set up until the last 20mins where they needed a goal.
On Ole, whilst the board obviously won’t want to be proven wrong about him, they’ll only keep him on if the results pick up considerably. There won’t be any time for sentiment if we don’t sharply start climbing up the league.
The only slight positive for Ole is that the best players so far have been his signings. Maguire has been so solid in the big games. Awb has looked very strong defensively but needs to work on his runs forward and James is looking like an absolute bargain. I’d love to see Ole remain at the club in some capacity but it’s difficult to do that when you’ve had the top job. He’d make a brilliant head of the academy or something similar. He’s definitely on borrowed time though in the top job.

Yep I said that at the time Adlab. They weren’t world beaters but their goals needed replacing. Neither Martial or Rashford have ever been prolific goalscorers so it was suicide to expect they’d suddenly contribute enough to replace Lukaku’s goals, whatever people’s opinions on him were.

Utd were better than usual. Liverpool worse than usual. Overall a fair result but thought Liverpool might nick it at the end. Will paper over a few cracks at Utd.
Most importantly, that’s 1 more for Utd towards that magic 40-point mark ?

I wouldn’t mind Ancelotti. He’s a bit too nice, but maybe that’s what Utd need now rather than an authoritarian like Jose.
Fair points about Ten Hag. Definitely a different structure there but he’d be worth a try with some money behind him IMO.

On second thoughts, looking at that list, I’d be tempted to go for Ten Hag with Edwin VDS as the chief of football operations or something like that. Put a proper structure in place. Ajax and Utd have many commmon values with the academy being so important to the first team and playing good football.

But neither of those are the case with Ole

Again Lucky, I’m not saying he has to be better than Ole. I mean, Ole isn’t better than Jose is he (yet he had the desired effect – from a temp POV)? You say “making the same mistake again” but in my opinion, giving Ole the job on a temp basis wasn’t the mistake. That was a stroke of genius. Giving him the job full time was the mistake.
I’m all for giving managers time where:
A. They’ve shown in the past they have proven pedigree
B. The signs of progress can be seen somewhere (ala Klopp’s first couple of seasons which weren’t amazing but you could see they were heading in the right direction). Just giving a manager time because it seems the right thing to do is madness._____________________________
