Frankly… Im pretty bored about the will he wont he go… Im not fazed either way, CFC will go out and sign someone else who will quickly make us forget who Hazard was. If Real want him it will cost them close to 200 million pounds. If Hazard wants to go, it will cost Real close to 200 million pounds. If Hazard stays then it means Real have 200 million to spend on another player or players…

I personally think Hazard is waiting to see what happens to Zidane and where Real Madrid finish in the table. Then will engineer a move which will cost real nearly 200 million pounds. That is a quarter of the new cost of Chelsea’s stadium right there.

I’d be disappointed to see hazard leave, but he hasn’t gotten close to replacing Lampard, or scaling the heights of what drogba achieved for the club and for 200 million Would laugh my head off at the stupidity of any club paying 200 million for Hazard. He aint worth it, CFC play better with him out the side, I only see positives in selling Hazard. City can have him for 300 million if they ask

442, good post mate although I’m not sure I can completely agree with “we’re a better team without Hazard ” ? albeit opposition aside we played some lovely football on Friday night without him.

I think the only two certainties about the Hazard situation is that it won’t get sorted out either way until the end of the season and that if Hazard goes he will go for an awful lot of money because rightly or wrongly in  he is rated as just a step or two down from Ronaldo, Neymar and Messi across Europe and Neymar would probably cost circa £300m  Messi is ungettable  and Ronalso is in his twilight years, everything else  is just guess work be it in the media or what we see on the football sites. One of the things against signing Hazard would be a lack of selling on fee.

Madrid are happy to splash the cash, but I can’t remember the last time they signed a 27 year old on huge money. They normally seem to go for younger players. Rodriguez, Bale and Ronaldo were 3-5 years younger than Hazard when they signed for Madrid for instance.

I think this is likely to be his last chance to play for Madrid. The galacticos don’t seem to want the slightly older player in his prime, but one yet to peak.

CHM-Jokes aside my friend,it is all just a silly speculation @ this moment mate! Anything could happen in the summer,and tbh it sounds like Hazard is playing the oldest trick in the book to get a new,long-term,much better contract,to me anyway.

Mav, you’re right of course that is normally how it works but Chelsea are very tough negotiators on sales out and have negotiated some great fees and imo Hazard will only go if  Real match Chelsea’s valuation of him and unlike FSG and the Coutinho situation Roman is not an investor looking to make money and is likely to stand his ground.

I don’t think it will come to that though because if Real truly want Hazard they will meet Chelsea’s valuation or Hazard will stay and sign a new improved contract.

Neymar to Real might sink the deal anyway.  Let’s hope so. ?

I would love this saga to be put to bed finally this summer. if we have to retain him, he should sign a new 5 year contract. if he wants to leave. then the door is wide open. player is bigger than Chelsea. if Real Madrid want him, then they should bid him this summer. if they don’t bid this summer, and he doesn’t sign a new contract. we should go ahead with our plans. will he be part of our plans if he doesn’t leave and doesn’t sign a new contract? i think that is tough decision for the management and the board to make. but i would say no. if the are to learn something from the Sanchez saga, then we need to tell him to make his mind before he plays for the team. Arsenal let Sanchez play without resolving his contract. and its United who are reaping the rewards. Sanchez is fit and in good shape thanks to Arsenal. can we afford to do similar? i don’t think so. Courtois i think will leave this summer. because i think his kids live there. but if he decides to sign and then include a buyout clause. then its even better. we need to search for a new keeper whilst we are trying to resolve the Hazard dispute.

999… .. …. …. I wouldn’t rule out both neymar and hazard moving this year to real… bale benzema Ronaldo modric all leave that’s a serious chuck of change the Spanish giants have to buy.

Long way off, but these mega deals do take months to prepare. SDly until hazard inks a new deal the rumours will persist. Thing you got to love about the player is he has pretty much always said what he has said about real and has always said he likes playing for Chelsea. Fingers crossed he stays but Cfc will be very handily placed to reinvest money if a sale did go theough.
