Massively important window for Chelsea the Summer imo both in and out plus structures need to be sorted and Managerial appointments need to be made inc imo a DOF.

Marina might be a great negotiator but a football person she is not.

How well Chelsea do this Summer will likely go much further than just shaping next Season imo too.

I have a feeling Roman intends to be very active this Summer but time will tell?

Mav- Toby is comfortably the best centre half in the league and one of the best in Europe. In the current (crazy) market £55m for him is a very good price. His exiling from the squad is nothing to do with his ability but will most likely affect his value.

Mav, I agree with you Wenger should have gone a long time ago andcafter last Season’s FA Cup win would have been perfect but don’t blame him blame the Arsenal Board.

As for Conte it’s gone too far now and the rift between him and the club can’t be fixed both are to blame imo the club for not giving Conte what he wanted in respect of control over transfers and Conte for speaking out about it to the media every week.

But I guess £70m plus for a Wing back and £50m plus for a 30 year old Center Back were questionable investments and the club had a right to say so.

Conte will go elsewhere in Europe and be successful but he does always crave total control that’s what led him to leave his beloved Juve and very few club’s give their Managers total control how.

Good point Jim re the wages I forgot about them suggested to be £350k per week after tax very very few would go too near matching that.
