Remind me again how many top players departed Bournemouth last season, and they still coped easily – namely Arrizabalaga, Huijsen, Kerkez, Zabarnyi, Ouattara and Semenyo.

In fact they lost their goalkeeper and three of their four starting defenders, sopmething most teams would not cope with.

In fact remind again me why Liverpool went after Andoni Iraola in the first place?

Defenders: Van Dijk, Ndukwe, Chambers, Kerkez, Tsimikas, Ramsay, Frimpong

One can’t play for us this season and 2 have never kicked a ball in the Prem.

We have one non homegrown place left in the squad at the min.

Ah ive no idea whats going on moonster

Well, I’ll give you my take, for what its worth.

As i’ve said on numerous occasions here, the background folks are saying that LFC is a basket case behind the scenes, and to me, this is currently looking like an ownership that cant wait to get new investment/sale, they arent interested in building a football club, they want to improve an asset. LFC probably has hit its peak value as an asset and now they cant wait to get out and arent really that worried about investing in the team.

Rumours are that we have people in Germany looking for deals via Woodvine, allegedly, the soon to be departing Hughes, is involved in the Barcola deal, also someone in out is South America seeking deals.

Remember the quotes that came out after Edwards left, ones saying ‘the plan is in place and now its about implementing it’….i think the plan was to do as little as possible ala Slot’s first season…but that’s my opinion only.
