Minteh is left footed
Jesus lads, im getting worried about you. Its not about being right or left footed
Tavnier played on the left for Bournemouth and was left footed.
Mbaye is right footed and played on the right so did sarr. Thats there position. Fuck me this really is a mind blowing bizarre conversation were bingo is totally missing the point. Ill leave it there bingo mate.

2nd September 2026 at 4:51 pm #255557IMO I think we now need to accept the FSG and Hughes screwed LFC over this window and hope that there is a good few months ahead for the boss.
1892 showed they were willing to get involved when needed, helping push the Barcola deal through when it was clearly going in the wrong direction.
How true the rumour is that 1892 want to be in full control by the new year is, I hope it is. FSG have clearly checked out, and have been for a while, they got their money and off to do something else…adios!

2nd September 2026 at 4:59 pm #255558I actually think we might see barcola on right at some stage aswell to be honest. All wingers will play both positions

2nd September 2026 at 5:21 pm #255561The amount spent isnt an issue Sean, it how well you spend it considering the issue you have at hand.
We’ve seen good prospects players moving for ยฃ22-35m this window, Chema Andrรฉs, Sangarรฉ all great talents which will more than likely be ยฃ80m next season if they produce.
To me, we thought spending like Real Madrid made us look like a big club, grand signings records broken…whilst infact, braking the squad, the morale, the unity and zero plan going forward.

2nd September 2026 at 5:43 pm #255569Dudes you have not seen the first team play together, it’s kind of fair to give the lads s month before stating we got screwed.
I reckon this will turn out to be a good window, we lost Salah, Robbo and Konate.
We got Jacquet, Araรบjo, Muรฑoz and Barcola. We got Tsimikas back as cover and we know we can trust him.
Complaining right now makes as much sense as complaining about Henderson, Milner and Fabinho being too industrial. You all thought that was unbalanced as well as we had nobody capable of going forward.
Then we get Thiago and you complain about him being injury prone, he just needed to be fit for two extra games and what could have been.
Point being nothing will make you happy ever.

2nd September 2026 at 5:54 pm #255570Another point being is you focus on the past, how we played in the past, you don’t talk about how we play right now.
Like we are forcing our goals in, it’s not luck, we are forcing them in by pressure and changing up the system.
Iraola had made all the right calls from the bench so far after the lads switch off. He is bailing them out of trouble after them letting him down. By momentary lacks of concentration, they switch off while waiting to be subbed. They switch off when the opposition goalie gets a key pass into our box. They switch off and let 2 players run through 6 of them on the counter without anyone challenging them.
Offensively we are good, we can change a game up at a moment’s notice, we got different options for most scenarios offensively but those fullbacks or lack there of is a issue.
We can argue about the midfield but IMHO Iraola just needs to reign them in and tell them to stop pushing. Like Gravy is a average playmaker but a excellent number 6 as he reads the game. Just tell him to stick to what he is good for and we do not have to worry. It’s his bloody job.

2nd September 2026 at 6:35 pm #255575There are only two posters here that like to ridicule other posters for their own aura farming, it reminds me of a kindergarten often.
I get your point and the point everyone else is trying to tell me but I just think you lads are wrong.
We’ve not seen the lineup yet but all of you have already made up your mind about how the season is gonna go and that discussion is mostly based on what the journos are telling you.
If we left Iraola short by one player or so it will be the first time he almost got a intact squad, with every key player there and more arriving.
He is used to seeing every key player disappear on him during the summer window, if not the summer window then the winter window.

2nd September 2026 at 6:56 pm #255576One thing you cant deny bingo is that currently we have zero right backs. Frimpong…just isnt, Gomez is not fit and hes not a right back, a bit like Araujo…a CD that can play at RB. Bradley is a great lad and player, but will he get fit and he is the only real right back we have.
To me, id be playing Araujo there but that put all our fit CB’s on the pitch at once.

2nd September 2026 at 8:11 pm #255578It’s the number one issue I’ve talked about moonster this window, from the start of the window.
Then about Frimpong, he just needs some stern telling from Iraola about how to play in this system.
If he stops bombing down the right flank and focused on defending we might have a player on our hands.
Hi especially is playing like Slot wanted him to play, not how Iraola wants him to play.
Same thing with Gravy, he just needs to be told to stay in his position and we got a world class number 6 again.

2nd September 2026 at 8:24 pm #255582Certain playing positions the board have tried address with replacement signings haven’t quite worked for us. This has compounded with the timing of multiple departures, and effectively a Transitional movement for us.
With that in mind, Araujo and Jacquet have given off good first impressions, so Frimpong and Kerkez really do need to work on their own game to improve.
I still think we’re short in Midfield both Defensive and Central, then a small matter of layering the squad depth so we actually have players when rotated that have the quality to come on and be able to perform.
We’ve exhausted ourselves as much as we could as far as this Transfer Window goes. The Focus is now on coaching the players on the Training Ground and get them playing to their optimum on Matchday.

2nd September 2026 at 8:38 pm #255583Gotta really reform the Spine. With this is mind, we don’t have a great deal of time left with both Van Dijk and Alisson. We play the blame game and it’s been a challenging and difficult set of circumstances without a doubt.
It’s now down to the very Top Tree that control us to instil in confidence Leadership able to lay a foundation and really invest in our Coach/Manager.
Andoni has come into the job at a fairly critical time that will put his own Management/Coaching experience and capabilities to the test.
First thing is first apart from getting us to play attractive and heavy metal football again is to be able to find our fight, our resilience, our drive, and our Spirit.

2nd September 2026 at 8:48 pm #255584If anyone of you had seen our strongest lineup play together in the past year or so, I might agree with you lads but the fact is we have not seen our strongest 11 for over a year now, so I donยดt get why you all have determined how we are gonna play under our new manager. You are all so smart that you know better than our head coach, you are all so smart that you know better than Hughes as well. Letยดs not forget the fact that every transfer rumor this window was true and all the blame needs to be shuffled on Hughes because you all know better! That is all pre determined before we see our strongest eleven play together because you know everything.

2nd September 2026 at 9:21 pm #255588Bingo, point on Bullseye mate. I don’t really see any other Prem Club having to deal with what we have had to deal with. No Violin act or sorry for ourselves and mollycoddle. I just love my lot so much that I want us to stand up ourselves.
Jurgen Klopp came in 2016 and was the Aura of this. Dejan Lovren oh my goodness what spirit. Emre Can. If Andoni Iraola finds his way and really hits the spot with us, we could really be seeing something.
I wish there’s something new and fundamental in breakthrough that could physically bring the best our in our players and maintain them strong so they are minimal towards injury. We HAVENT HAD OUR STRONGEST 11.

2nd September 2026 at 9:34 pm #255592Nil look at the u18 dealings we had this summer, we signed up every defender over 6ยด5 this summer under the age of 18. We are gonna have a backline of 6ยด6 in a couple of years, thatยดs just the defenders we signed for out youth teams. We made better business there than any club in Europe this summer in the long run. Not a single pound wasted, the pounds extra are going to make players such as Wirtz and Isak look like the record signings they are.

2nd September 2026 at 9:46 pm #255593I appreciate those thoughts Bingo. We need to be planning for the future. It seems people’s thoughts can be easily diluted frantically into the here and now and so their reactions can be a bit flippant. I am definitely myself guilty of that. I do hope from a Goalkeeper perspective Jaros recovers soon from injury.
